It was honestly a complete waste of time. I went through the entire process twice. The first time, I was already approved, but then I never got a callback. I followed up, did everything all over again, and submitted every single document they asked for—just to end up in the same situation. Meanwhile, I’m on the verge of being evicted, and instead of being upfront from the beginning, they gave me false hope. If I didn’t qualify, they should have said that from day one. I don’t even make that much money, which makes this whole situation even more frustrating. At this point, I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time here.

Do not bother contacting Catholic Charities for help. I waited almost 2 months to get a call from a case worker only to tell me that I didn't qualify for rental assistance. Why don't you all tell people all of the requirements when they first call asking for help before they waste their time waiting for your a case worker to call? Thanks for nothing. I could looked at other resources. And why does it take 2 months to even get a call back? By now most people will have been evicted and don't need your help anymore.

Ignore and hang up phone. Called once they picked up phone and hung up. Called second time put on hold then hanged up again without even saying anything both times. Should not have people who don’t want to work let alone help the community. Where is the care and the love for God.

Nope not helpful. No blessings here. We desperately needed help for our light and they asked for over 20 documents and bc I was missing my daughter social card. They denied me. That fast. I had proof of social but not the physical card itself I had income tax papers and anything else as proof. But bc of one silly government paper. They declined. Tax the churches since they want have that type of judgment
