Compassus has been the best blessing for our family. We have had the best team. Gina, Lori, Emma and Ms. T have really been there for us! Rodger and Crystal have been so kind and helpful as well. I would recommend this hospice to literally everyone who needs this type of care. Gina and Lori have really gone above and beyond to love our family.

The information I was given upfront by Compassus was insufficient at best. We were sweet talked into thinking my dad would go to one of the hospice houses in Tulsa. Unfortunately that didn’t happen before he passed. Also, I was never told that I would become dad’s nurse as long as he was in his home. On Sunday we were promised to go to a hospice house only to find out that transport was unavailable. It was really unprofessional. Also when the nurse stopped by I was told that he should have been receiving drugs. All in all not good service.

My grandmother had been living with my husband and I for about twelve years with dementia. She was getting worse not better. There came a point where I knew I needed more help with her. So I got in touch with Compassus. At the same time, my mother-in-law couldn't take care of herself so she came to live with us. She had had three strokes and wasn't doing a whole lot. So now I was taking care of one eighty-three year old and one eighty-four year old. Both had special needs. I was doing the best I could with what I had. Compassus came to the rescue. They would help me bathe them, change diapers, change bed sheets, change clothes, clean wounds, and give them their medications. They helped me care for them like I would care for them. They helped me keep them safe and taken care of and comfortable. Everyone should use this company. Part of the company's name is in the one word I would use to describe the company-compassion. Thank you all for everything you did to help my family and I. I would use this company again and so should everyone else.

I recently had a hip replacement and was receiving In-Home Physical Therapy (PT) and In-Home Occupational Therapy (OT) from Ascension at Home, which is affiliated with Compassus. I would like to give the PT portion of my In-Home medical treatment a 5 Star rating. Brenda and Crystal, of the PT unit were both absolutely outstanding. However, if I could give the OT unit a Zero Star review, I would. I was contacted by David, the OT Supervisor, that he wanted to come out to do a discharge assessment on March 5, 2026. I told him I was not available that day could he do it on another day. He said, “No. I am going to be on vacation from the 6th through the 13th.” I suggested to do it after he came back from vacation and he said it could not wait that long. He said he will discharge me without doing an assessment. I objected and told him I do not want to accept that because I was still having some occupational issues. I told him doing a discharge without an assessment is like erasing a problem without any analysis or resolution. He confirmed he will discharge me without an assessment of my current condition. I again objected and said if he is going to ‘pencil whip’ my discharge, I will contact the Case Manager. (Note: I explained to David ‘pencil whip’ is a term we used in my industry when we wanted to erase a problem without admitting the problem ever existed.) He put me on hold, came back and told me he was wrong about his vacation dates and he could be at my home to do the discharge assessment on Monday, March 9th with an arrival time between 10am and 12:30pm. On March 9th, he never showed up. I called the Home Care Office at approximately 4:20pm and asked for the Case Manager. She did not know if David was on vacation or not but she did confirm David did sign a discharge from OT for me and he did so on Sunday, March 8th. I told her I did not appreciate being lied to by the OT Manager, David, and I wanted to file an official complaint about David’s unprofessional conduct in the way he treats and lies to Home Care’s patients. I was referred to Dana, one of the Administrators, who was David’s immediate Supervisor. A message was left for Dana to contact me and she did return my call at 5:04pm that same day. I informed Dana of the reasons I was extremely irritated and disappointed with David and mainly the fact that I was upset because he intentionally lied to me about setting up an appointment which he had no intention of keeping which was proven by the fact that he processed my discharge from OT the day before he made an appointment to do my discharge assessment. I informed Dana before I retired, I was at the executive level of management in the computer electronics industry, and it is my opinion if an employee would lie to a customer (or in this case lie to a patient) that employee has no business to be in the position he or she is in. Dana remained silent but did not disagree. ********************** I could not finish copying and pasting the review I pre-wrote in MS Word, but the rest of my review was equally condemning of the OT Unit.

I'm terminally ill. I am not able to be cured. My specialist and pcp all agree i won't make 6 months and I need to stay on hospice. Well first they forgot my feeding supplies for over a month. My pcp and dietitian had to rapidly call and fax to finally get my feedings. Then they forgot my feedings for a whole weekend then forgot my meds for over 27 hours. Now because "i cost too much" they are removing from hospice because the new nurse wasn't taking good notes she told them i was getting better when I lost 7lbs, my measurements went down and I an falling 2 to 3 times a day and I am forgetting things like my husband and my daughter. When this nurse was told this stuff by my caregiver/husband and she seen it with her own eyes, her response is " ok nothings changed all good, see you next Tuesday " my husband and I begged the nurse to start seeing me twice a week she said that's not going to happen because she is already swamped and unless 3 or 4 of her patients die she can't see me twice a week. The very next week she came out to tell me I am being removed in 5 days and they are taking all my life saving equipment away from me. And I get 2 weeks of meds then I am done. This place is hell. They only care is their patients die fast enough. Never would I put my family in their hands. I'll update this with proof. I have call logs text logs. I have pictures. It's sad. I shouldn't have to deal with this on my death bed.
