Hospice of Middletown has provided absolutely wonderful care for both of my parents at the ends of their lives. Caretakers were totally dedicated and genuine in their deep care for their patients and love for their purpose. In addition, they maintained constant communication with family members regarding our parents’ conditions throughout their time of care. My family and I had peace of mind having Hospice there to be with our parents, especially when we weren’t able to be there with them. I know that both of my parents looked forward to the times hospice visited. I feel very privileged to have experienced having Hospice to be there for my parents and us.

Our friend did not have any remaining family but as soon as he enrolled, the Hospice team wrapped their care around him and became like loving relatives. When he realized that his lungs would not support him much longer, he contacted Hospice Care of Middletown. Their team took time to understand his wishes, learn his circle of close friends and communicated with his doctors to learn the needed medical treatments. As we provided emotional support we watched with admiration and thanks as the hospice team skillfully administered medication, breathing treatments, wound care and dignity preserving bathing and grooming. When the end arrived, a nurse assured that all measures were taken to maximize comfort. On behalf of our friend’s closest buddies we say “thank you Hospice Care of Middletown”.

Hospice of Middletown was such a gift for my Dad & our entire family. Having experienced the care , love & thoughtfulness of all the caregivers involved brought joy, smiles & reassurance that my Dad was in caring hands. All the caregivers became like family & they knew who all of us kids were when we stopped in to see Dad & Mom.
