RiverStone Health Hospice

It is with profound sadness I learned today the hospice house will be closing in June. This will be a tragic and irreplaceable loss to this community. Those of you with loved ones who passed while residing there know that the staff are unsung heroes. I cannot praise them enough for their compassion and self-sacrifice. You have made a a significant difference, in spite of the failure of corporate healthcare.

My grandmother was only there for a few days but everyone was so amazing. Treasa was the nurse that did the intake and was wonderful. I couldn’t have asked for a better place for my grandma to be the last few days of her life.

They are helpers where my mother lives

The care that the team at Riverstone Health Hospice Home provided to my Mom during the last month of her life was incredible. The nurses and aides that work there were the most compassionate caregivers to her and also to our family during the many days and nights we spent at her bedside. The home was a beautiful and peaceful environment for her and we knew this was the right decision for her needs. I would highly recommend the Hospice Home to anyone needing hospice care for their loved one at the end of their life. Both my Dad and I were able to be with her for her final breath because the staff kept in close contact with us so we could be there during her final moments. It has been one month since Mom passed away and even though my heart is heavy, I know how well cared for she was at the end thanks to the Hospice Home staff. A huge thank you to the team!
