Their legal services are top tier! We are so grateful to have worked with Representative Colleen Sheehy, who was everything we could have hoped for when filing our immigration case. She consistently went above and beyond to offer the most helpful legal advice, was knowledgeable and diligent in working through all the complexities of immigration law, and moreover, is a genuinely lovely person. Thank you so much Colleen and all of the helpful staff at CMC!

One of Madison most valuable resources. The man that runs this place is SO KIND and has been working in the community forever. Need food? They got you. Need soap and shampoo? They got you. Need laundry done? They can help with that too. Truly, they can help with so many things and I'll be forever grateful for the help I've received there!

To the entire team at the Catholic Multicultural Center in Madison, Wisconsin: thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am forever grateful for the support, guidance, and strong sense of community you gave me during my first year in this country and while I was learning the language. Special thanks to my English teachers, Mike and David, for their patience, dedication, and encouragement, and heartfelt thanks to Sarah, who always made sure I had someone to lovingly care for my one-year-old at CMC while I attended my classes. Yesterday, January 16, 2026, I became a U.S. citizen, and I truly wanted to share this moment with you because I believe this achievement is also yours. Your kindness, commitment helped make this possible, and I will always carry that with me as I move forward.

If you need a free meal, this is the spot. They don’t care who you are—no ID, no questions. But on the last Friday each month, they’ll ask if it’s your birthday. That’s when they throw out cake and ice cream. I only caught that once, so who knows what the rest of the month looks like. They do mark something, at least.
