We love our Therapist Nikki. She sheds a different perspective during each session and has helped my wife and I communicate more effectively. The comfortable space is calm and helps me feel safe to share.

Worst experience I have ever had in my entire life. This place is INSIDIOUS. I regret not reading the reviews thoroughly. They don't care about your mental health, they just want your money. Not only do they charge you $135 for a missed appointment, they also DELAY your billing by SEVERAL MONTHS. I should have been charged per session, but APPARENTLY insurance doesn't go through automatically with the horrid company, so MONTHS after not speaking to these people, I am being charged my co-pay for every visit. The customer service is god awful, and the therapists there aren't even good. I was being billed for sessions with a therapist who just spit out coping skills that are common knowledge. The therapist hardly engaged with me, I felt like I was just talking to fill the silence because she wouldn't ask me questions or give advice. Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE company DO NOT get therapy here. I know it seems like a relief with how quickly they can get you set up but it is NOT WORTH IT. I don't leave reviews often, but I am doing this for the people out there like me that saw the bad reviews and thought 'eh, I'm sure that's not true'. It is. Those people are right. This place is terrible. DO NOT GET THERAPY HERE. EDIT: Per the request of the response to my review, I reached out to the support team to see if they would do anything about my situation, and they simply parroted the same thing that they told me over the phone with no consideration to my situation. So, yeah, review hasn't changed. Don't let them convince you that they actually can and will do anything because from my experience, they won't!

I do not recommend this service for mental health care. It is very impersonal and lack empathy. It is all about business and money. They are not there to actually make a positive impact on mental healthcare. It is simply a way of earning profit. I accidentally mixed up the appointment time and was slightly over 15 minutes late for my appointment and the provider left and they sent me a late fee of $135. I called them requesting to wave the fee based of me having no previous history of no missed appointments. And they absolutely refused. There is no grace, no understanding. Just be aware that they don’t care if you had emergency or disruption of your internet connection. You will pay this hefty fine. Obviously they lost me as their long term patient and everyone I could have referred to their services. Apparently they will quickly fill my place with another sick patient and they know it and it proves that their patients are just the means for profit. They don’t truly care about your well being. You will be better off finding a local provider with whom you will establish a personal relationship and who won’t see you just as another number.

Very much enjoy my sessions with Dawn. As one would hope, she is very bright, a good listener and has some very good ideas that she is not afraid to share with me. I enjoy her honesty and empathy -- it's very much what I was looking for. And I've also already had success in one of the methods she offered me to adapt to help me deal with a serious issue.

I was speaking to a counselor through Thriveworks and everything was fine until I was 15 minutes late to an appointment. I’m sure this is considered a cut-off time for most places, but one would think some leeway would be given to the emotional state of people who are seeking counsel in the first place. I had a valid health reason for missing the beginning of my appointment, and had maintained a perfect record of always being early for my sessions. The late fee for a “no-show” (even though I tried to sign into the Zoom call, albeit late) is $135.00! That is the cost of multiple sessions! What if I was scraping up money to seek mental help? This fee is outrageous! At that rate, I should have been able to still speak to my counselor for the remaining 45 minutes of my allotted hour, at the very least. It’s no wonder we have such a hard time finding mental/emotional support in this money hungry, insurance dictated, god-forsaken country. Thriveworks should be ashamed of themselves. And if anyone out there is under the impression that your counselor or their office cares about your mental health above money, you are gravely mistaken!
