YWAM Louisville

I had an overwhelming positive experience. The schools are taken seriously and many people see breakthrough and transformation in their lives. The leadership team is active in the whole process and led with great character. I would recommend to others!

God transformed my life through ywam Louisville but it's come recently that I have discovered some things about the Base. For one the director of the base was posting very inappropriate political attacks on Facebook full of nothing but lies. And at one point I wanted to come to ywam Louisville. I've been a missionary in Mexico for 3 years and I want to share about my missionary experience but the director would not allow it. The base is located at a church and so I thought the director would be happy and excited about me sharing my experience in Mexico with the church but no he apparently stops anybody from ywam being able to share any testimonies about the work of God at the church. This is not correct as a director of a Christian organization that they would do everything you possibly can to stop their own staff and others from sharing about God's work. I have recently found out that the base made a agreement with the church to not share testimonies from anybody who is associated with YWAM at the church. Of course this is not biblical and not the way that the church should ever be ran. It is not right to make an agreement to stop people from sharing testimonies at the church. Sadly this is an agreement that was made 18 years ago but is not founded upon the Bible and not the will of God

I had an amazing experience being apart of the program that YWAM Louisville runs! It was a wonderful time of growing and listening to God’s direction for me life. I made so many connections and learned a lot about myself and how God sees me and others. If you’re looking to take a gap year and/or want to grow in your relationship with God I would definitely recommend YWAM! If you have a heart for missions and want to discover more about God’s love for the nations you should sign up immediately! Thank you YWAM Louisville for having such a wonderful program and caring so deeply about others and the nations.

I love YWAM Louisville! It really feels like a family and it's so great to be in a place where everyday I'm being challenged and encouraged towards the Lord. I know that I'm surrounded by people who genuinely care about me and my relationship with the Lord. Through doing schools here I grew so much in my faith. I no longer just followed a religion but I learned what a relationship with God actually looks like through teachings and observing how others pursued the Lord. And I had opportunities to actually apply the things I was learning. Going on outreach with YWAM Louisville I had opportunities to lead and use the giftings that God has given me. I found my passion for sharing the gospel with others and was encouraged along the way. I loved how much people based ministry we did and learning to work with a team. Highly highly recommend YWAM Louisville as has God used it to make such a positive impact in my life.

In September of 2019 I decided to do a Discipleship Training School with YWAM Louisville. Prior to this decision I felt stagnant in my faith and I was longing to further my relationship with the Lord. My school helped me do this and more. I learned how the Lord wanted a personal relationship and what that looks like for me. For the second part of my school I had the opportunity to go on an overseas mission trip to Southeast Asia for six weeks. My team and I were able to minister to the Hindu people. We taught English to students in schools, we shared stories to families in homes and we served food to widows in church. All with the purpose of sharing the love of Jesus and what relationship with him looks like. I would recommend YWAM Louisville to anyone looking to start or further their relationship with the Lord! Everyone there wants to see YOU grow in your relationship with the Lord. My experience with them was amazing and I would recommend YWAM Louisville to anyone!
