I checked out a very services online after seeing a commercial ad pop up on my Facebook feed. The ads had a woman who said this is a progressive church so I checked out their actual facebook page out of curiosity. Not one mention of Jesus Christ, God, the Holy Spirit…none of it! It’s like they don’t even read the Bible. If you want a feel good place where you are told that you can continue to live for YOU and not for God and life will be all cotton candy go for it. I want to stand on truth, the word of God. I pray the leaders of this congregation and the members of their church, that they would all find Gods word and not some watered down gospel that will ultimately lead them further from Gods love, grace and truth.

If you are in search of a community that believes that all people are born with inherent worthiness and dignity then this is the place for you. I wanted to find a place where my children could learn about all religions and science, I wanted them to find a place with other individuals who care about the environment, I wanted them to find a place where they could show up exactly as they are on any given Sunday with their questions, their doubts, and their growing beliefs. This church doesn't tell you what to believe but it does challenge you to grow into your own individual empathy for humankind.

UUCF is more welcoming to atheists vs christians but truly includes both. This is a particularly great spiritual home for members of the LGBTQIA+ community seeking refuge amiss so many attacks from the national front. Stay for coffee hour.

A very progressive, loving, and safe space. An oasis of kindness and welcome. I enjoy that people of so many different religious traditions gather here and that you are not asked to leave your reason at the door.

This place is amazing. Awesome for parents, families, kids of all ages. Very welcoming environment, to people of color and especially to the Spanish-speaking community, because many of our songs and parts of the services include Spanish.
Services start at 10:30, coffee hour at noon. SO many other great things go on here, like meditation, book groups, movies, potlucks, parenting classes, etc. Just get in the link by giving them your email and they'll keep you updated!
Edit (10/24): After coming here for years, I must say my mind is changed. If you and your family are "woke", this is the place to be. Come get gobbled up by the trans agenda. Many of the sermons may still have a lovely theme that really connected with my spirit- the problem for me is the social justice warrior aspects that proclaimed children should be able to get gender affirming care before the age of 18. This is APPALLING and against common sense. I just did not feel comfortable bringing my kids here anymore once they started pushing pronouns and the trans agenda. Also, you will likely not be satisfied if you are Christian, I've never known this church to focus on the Bible in any way. It is LGBTQIA friendly. Which is nice, but also attracts some families with very nonconventional values.
