Unprofessional - cancelled my order at the last minute, impossible to get ahold of and has not returned my money. I ordered a "designers choice" bouquet to be delivered to my mom's house a few days before mother's day, I've been using North Park florist for years and thought I'd branch out this year and saw they were very close to their house. Vetted their Instagram page and website, saw they only do delivery and placed the order 5 days in advance. They cancelled the order around noon the day it was supposed to be delivered and I only found out because I signed up for delivery status texts. I received no email from the business on why, and more importantly, no refund. I called the number listed on Google and their website three times and each time it rang a few times before going to voicemail (which makes me think my calls are getting declined). I emailed them asking for a refund and asking what happened, no response. I now have to file a complaint with my credit card company to get the money back. I don't know if they went on hiatus for the holiday or went out of business, but considering their business shows up on Google maps, has an active website and there is nothing indicating they aren't doing mother's day deliveries on their website or their social media pages I think this was handled very unprofessionally. I will not be attempting to order from them again and do not recommend them. This is a shame because I love supporting local businesses and independent florists, and their designs looked lovely.

My partner and I scheduled a wedding consultation with Corinne as we loved shopping at her store in the past. At the day and time of our appointment, we arrived at her store on Elmwood and saw a for rent sign outside, the lights off (during normal store hours), and no sign of anyone. We called the store number to find it disconnected. I emailed to ask if she needed to reschedule and never heard back. I had a previous review of Hyacinth House for their Polish candles and other store items which I really did enjoy. I had to edit this though as I didn’t want to mislead anyone. If you’re buying items same day, this shop is for you! But buyer beware about paying or scheduling work in advance.

I needed to have flowers delivered for my mother in laws birthday. Hyacinth House went above and beyond, to fulfill this request and make her entire day. Thank you again, Corrine! She loves them!

The only place I ever go for flowers. My family always looks forward to Valentine’s Day, Mother’s day and their birthdays because they know a gorgeous bouquet is in their future! INSANE value for the cost, and Corinne always delivered beyond my expectations.

I've both gifted and been gifted arrangements by the Hyacinth House, and the detail that goes into each is felt with the heart & the senses. Highly recommend owner and designer Corinne--she will be so attentive to your designs notes and ensure there is love in every bouquet.
