Amedisys Hospice Care

Loved this hospice care agency. They are amazing. They showed sympathy towards my father who was in hospice and as well to my family. They were very helpful and useful. They did so much for my father each and every person who would come over. If we needed prescriptions they had them the next day. They were always on call and would come no matter what hour of the day was. They were very patient with us and taught us what we needed to know. They were completely honest with us during the time we had with them. They made my father who was on hospice care live out his last days peacefully. I highly recommend this agency! They are very caring and willing to be there for you, your family, and your loved one who is on hospice. They explained and have us many resources. They offer so much for your loved ones we are glad to have had them. The hospice nurses who really helped us through this time were Amber, Angela, Tanya, and Tracy, also Chris the Chaplin. They helped my loved one and family through a lot. We appreciated everything and will for ever remember this agency!

When my Mom had hospice my Dad was still living. The staff was professional and knowledgeable. The staff were soft spoken, kind and gentle. They were very respectful to my Dad as well. Their interaction with family members was also positive. I was surprised and most pleased that the hospice staff and their supervisor attended my Mother’s funeral. All of my siblings were very please with the entire hospice experience. Amedisys is excellent!

Amedisys Hospice Care has been a Blessing for my family. They did & are still doing all they can to help me with my granny. My granny loves the care they provide her. Knowing they are helping with her care has relieved the stress & saddness we were expecting on making this change. Everyone I have spoken to have been WONDERFUL. As for future help my children know who to call for when the time comes to help me & if my parents need help I know I am not alone. I will definitely contact them.

I wasn't sure about hospice until as the only care giver I became overwhelmed. I called Amedisys of Ft Worth. The best way to describe them is a team of Angels came. They gently took over and handled everything. I can't thank them enough for their help and guidance

My mother went on Asana hospice service on May 8, 2019. It was probably one of the most difficult and scary decisions for a family for my mother. Asana helped me educate my mother and my family for some time so that when my mother was ready, she could make that call. Asana did an amazing job of continuously feeding my mother and family with education so when that time came, she was in powered to do what she felt was best for her. One afternoon after a year of Dialysis my mother had enough education about what Hospice means. She made the decision at that time to say she was done. Because of Asana’s approach and education by their clinical director and the executive director my mother was able to make a solid decision of what she wanted. My mother was on hospice for 24 days before she died. The key to her decision was the education Asana provided her. After my mother made the decision to go on Hospice, Asana stepped in immediately to provide my mother & my family with the most comfort of care and support. The Asana team surrounded me and my family. Because of the clinical director, executive director, chaplain, social worker, bereavement counselor, nursing assistant my family and I felt taken care of! The thing that Asana did that impacted us as a family and as a patient was their willingness to customize my mother’s hospice care to her! When you’re looking for a hospice organization are they listening to you? Are they intuitively & instinctively rallying around you and your loved one? Asana did! What Asana hospice did for me and my family was amazing. Asana counts on you as a family and as an individual to communicate with them so they will give you exactly what you need. When on Hospice sometimes things change in an hour in a minute, in a moment. Each time I called Asana’s on-call nurse they listened to me and they responded immediately! Because of Asana’s care and attention to detail and willingness to collaborate with my family and my mother she was able to pass with her family right next to her holding her. She was not in distress when she died. Because of the Asana my mother was able to pass in peace. The biggest message I can tell you is Asana hospice will customize your care and meet you where you’re at and do whatever it takes for your loved one or yourself to pass with dignity comfort and care. I absolutely love this team because of what they did for me and how they handled each changing situation of my mother. They customized my mother’s care to get the right comfort for her. I have worked as a health care professional for 25 plus years and I have never experienced a finer team.
