My grandfather passed away on the 29th of April, 2026. The employees, namely Deeanna & Tracey have been nothing but helpful, understanding, & compassionate. They surprised us by bringing in a beer to have one last drink with him and cheers him upon his departure. ❤️ Thank you for all your help and guidance during this hard time.

Our family felt truly cared for by the team at Victoria Greenlawn Funeral Home. As the daughter‑in‑law of our beloved Mother/ "Grandma Darling" who passed suddenly, I was deeply grateful for how compassionate, patient, and professional the staff were throughout every step of the process. They made a difficult time feel less overwhelming by guiding us gently through the necessary arrangements and ensuring we understood each part. Because of their support, we were able to give our loved one a dignified, beautiful service that truly honoured her memory. We are so appreciative of the respect and kindness shown to our entire family during such a tender moment. Thank you for helping us say goodbye with grace.

This was the first time I had to go through the process of making funeral arrangements. From the very first moment I was impressed by the gentleness, kindness, compassion and the professionalism of everyone I came in contact with. They made the process of this difficult time a little easier for me and my family. I really appreciate and I am thankful to each person from the start of this experience to the very end. Thank you Victoria Greenlawn for making this difficult and sad time a little easier

We would like to send our outmost gratitude to the incredible service the manager Sean Marenger and his team has provided to our family at Victoria Greenlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery. When our Mother Violet Ernestine Harris-Dungy passed away so suddenly, they sprang into action first by advising us on our options and second by offering the best care we have ever experienced. Our Mother/Nana belonged to the New Life Fellowship Church who was our first point of contact with Bishop Paul Riley who notified us about his wife Sheri’s amazing work at Victoria Greenlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery. The manager Sean and Sheri were so accommodating providing us with all of our options that wouldn’t break the bank as well as honour our Mother’s life to the fullest. Sean allowed my daughter Harlie, who is a licensed funeral director, who also worked for Arbor Memorial in the past to take full rein of the preparation of Mom and allowed her to have a visitation with her closest family and friends who could make it. The time they allowed my daughter Harlie and the time we were able to visit with Mom/Nana was so healing. Sean was so wonderful with everything he did, as well as giving us a guided tour of the beautiful facility. We also got to see the graphic design team work and how they make all the little details so special. He truly worked so hard to make everything special for us. Sean, Sheri and Christina were so lovely and kind even when a few family members caused strife. We would like to also thank the incredible director Christina Tatangelo for helping and guiding Harlie through her preparations to make Mom/Nana rest peacefully the way she always looked at her best. The makeup and supplies they provided to my daughter to use on Mom were the highest quality, making her efforts so much easier. She truly puts her heart into her work and the empathy shown to our family from the entire staff was remarkable. To the gentleman employee who chose the makeup supplies, thank you, you helped so much! Their facility is extremely clean and inviting, the staff has a very warm and welcoming attitude to everyone they serve. We truly wouldn’t know what to do if we didn’t get referred through Bishop Paul Riley to his wife Sheri. Mom initially pre arranged with Families First who did not offer any of these services to us and the transfer of pre arrangement was so easy to Victoria Greenlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery. We discovered we would have payed more than double if we stayed with Families First and wouldn’t have received the same service by any means. They would not allow my daughter Harlie to prepare Mom/Nana for her visitation at their facility even though embalming was not necessary. We tell everyone we know how amazing Victoria Greenlawn Funeral Home in Oldcastle is. They also provided us with After Care which also made things alot easier for us, finalizing her estate. Our entire family will remember this for a lifetime because Mom affected hundreds, if not thousands of lives around her. We are truly blessed to be saved by Victoria Greenlawn Funeral Home in this situation and we definitely will be going with them in the future. The prayers that Bishop Paul Riley spoke at her visitation were also so beautiful and we are so grateful Victoria Greenlawn allowed this especially considering we were very late to start prayer. Bishop Riley and his wife Sheri also put on an incredible Celebration of Life service for Mom/Nana the weekend following the visitation. Without all of these contributions, Mom/Nana would have not received the most respectful and beautiful final goodbye that she so deserved. We are so forever grateful. I want to extend a very special Thank You to Sean, Sheri and Bishop Riley, Christina and all the other funeral home staff at Victoria Greenlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery, Oldcastle Ontario.
