I attended this church for a period of time, and I feel it’s important to share my experience for anyone considering joining. In my experience, the leadership places a strong emphasis on money, image, and loyalty, rather than on genuine care for people or biblical humility. The church often speaks about missions and sound doctrine, but over time I saw actions that didn’t reflect those words. There seemed to be more concern about maintaining appearances than about addressing real issues or helping hurting members. I also noticed a pattern of manipulation and guilt used to pressure people into giving financially or serving in the ministry. When members stepped away or asked questions, they were often made to feel like the problem rather than being treated with understanding or grace. The leadership’s personal choices have also created visible division and pain in the congregation, leading many long-time members to leave. It was heartbreaking to see. In my opinion, this church does not reflect the love, humility, or accountability that the Bible teaches. If you are looking for a place to grow spiritually and be part of a healthy, transparent community, I recommend seeking another church where integrity and compassion truly lead.

Agree with some of the critics . I was in cell group years ago. After i didn't come back nobody tried to call me and convince me to come back. I had a feeling that they don't care which is why i decided not to come back. So Nicole is right

I have been coming to freeport bible center for years, this church is full of true believers, no church is perfect if you really want you find something wrong you will, but the truth is in this church you will change, you will receive sound teaching, and transformation. Many churches these days speak false teaching no biblically based, this one does not do that. The pastor Carlos Luis Vargas, is a true man of God. I have gone to many different churches but I have say none are like this one. Do they ask for money yes yes they do, but not for frivolous things, the money that is given is to help the needy, around the world, which is exactly what the church is called to do. Me myself I have given many times but there have been times where I wasn't able, Noone EVER mad me feel bad about that or force me to give it is voluntary. All churches will ask for money, because money is needed to expand the kingdom. I will say this since I have been giving, I am blessed truly, I have never lacked anything. So overall anyone who wants to come to this church you will be received with love.

Agree with Nicolle Giron for the most part. I was in a cell group there years ago. Yes they don't care about anything but $$$.But that's just about every church as the Christian church not only in America but throughout the world is a failure as we are living in end times. Bible points out that usury is a sin but the Christian church says yes
