Hospice of Florida

It’s hard to express the amount of gratitude I have for Hospice of FL. But I’ll start with telling you Earth angels exist people! 😁 From Fallon (liaison) to sweet Chyna & Tina (aides) to Supernurse Bryce (RN) to David (Chaplain) to Sandra (social worker), I have just been blown away. The team cared for my Dad for many weeks prior to his passing and provided SO much help in SO many different areas. I could actually feel the weight lifted off my shoulders! Each one of them had their own role to play in supporting me and my Dad and they did it with such kindness, knowledge, & support along that journey I was trying to navigate. I was his full-time caregiver & also working full-time here at home and the last few months were super hard as his health continued to decline pretty rapidly. (He had Alzheimer’s). Right before I outreached to them I was actually contemplating a nursing home since I was getting to my breaking point in caring for him as well as trying to help 2 other loved ones in my life that have terminal illnesses. THAT’S why I just love them all so much. Their interventions allowed me to keep Dad here with me at home until he took his last breath which was always my wish. I’ve been a nurse for 30 years and the last thing I wanted was for him to pass in a nursing home. That didn’t happen and so much credit goes to Hospice of FL. His passing was peaceful. So peaceful. And for that there is no thank you big enough.

My mom has been on service with them for several weeks. What a wonderful organization. Everyone is so thoughtful and caring. Even when I call on a weekend, they are there to help. I highly recommend Hospice of Florida and am grateful to have them help my mom and I.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Hospice of Florida and the compassionate care they provided to my mom. From the moment we connected with them, we felt completely supported and understood. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure not only her comfort but also our family’s peace of mind. I also want to say that their team is incredibly compassionate and empathetic. They took the time to listen to our concerns and truly understood what we were going through, offering reassurance and kindness at every step. Something else I appreciated was their ability to clearly and calmly communicate with both my mother and myself any time we needed them. It gave us the feeling of reassurance knowing they were just a phone call away. I will be recommending hospice of Florida to anyone in need of truly compassionate hospice care for themselves or a loved one.

Hospice of Florida has been wonderful. They are loving, patient, and kind, not only with the family member they are caring for, but with each of the other family members as well. They offer the best of medical care for the situation. They answer phone calls at all times for any question or concern. All staff members offer support and encouragement throughout this journey. We are so grateful for Hospice of Florida and the guidance they have given us throughout this experience.

Losing a loved one is never easy. Hospice of Florida provided excellent service to our mother. Love, respect, and dignity were always displayed to her and all family members. All staff members, including Administrators, clinicians, and support staff always displayed care and compassion throughout her care.
