The Flower Kitchen

Came here for brunch on my way back to Bham after a concert. The place was really cute decorated with flower bouquets, as you might imagine. It was super clean and had lots of natural light from the large windows out front. I got a bacon quiche with their spring mix salad and an oatmeal cookie latte (?). The food was pretty tasty and the latte was delicious. I'm not usually a big milk drinker in my coffee, let alone oat milk, but it was really well made. There was a lot of outdoor seating to choose from, which I love, because AL doesn't ever have any outdoor tables. The lady who took my order was sweet but it was sort of unclear if they brought the food out to you or you waited and picked it up. They really need a buzzer system or need to give the customers numbers and deliver it because I stood, waiting, for at least 20 mins for my meal whereas I could've been seated outdoors waiting. In any event, the meal was good and reasonably priced. Glad I got a chance to drop by.

Staff was friendly and welcoming. The berry scone was ridiculous in all the best ways.

Such an amazing cup of coffee and great service. We were only in town for a few day, and had the pleasure of being served by Claire and staff. The flowers were fresh and fragrant.

Every time I come here I feel like I’ve died and gone to heaven. This little coffee shop is one of the biggest joys in my life and let me tell you why. Every part of the experience, you can tell is executed with so much quality & intention & most importantly, love. My favorite things to get? How can I just choose one. The oatmeal cookie latte, I dream about it. Their gluten free options? Mouth watering. I’m sorry, what other coffee shops do you know with a GLUTEN FREE biscuit that is so phenomenal you’ll want to eat 12. The cherry on top? The staff. From the flower bar, to the baristas, to their kitchen, everyone is so kind & patient. Between the people, the coffee, the food, The Flower Kitchen has all the things we all need more of in our lives.

Had to stop for coffee at this beautiful, aesthetic cafe that is bustling. You can make your own flower arrangement or pick up an arrangement to go. We had to take advantage of the near 70 degree weather and sit outside. It sure beats the mid 40s back home! Great espresso too!
