Everyone here was very helpful and very nice. I came.to SF for an emergency surgery for my child. The Ronald McDonald house was very very supportive even though They didn't know me. I'm not use to such amazing hospitality. If you need a lil extra help in an emergency for a child. Please don't be afraid to grab into that helping hand. God bless this foundation.

After having an emergency c-section & delivering my baby 6 weeks early, he has to stay in the NICU. Because we lived over 30 miles from Sioux Falls, we were offered to stay here until our baby was able to go home. I couldn’t believe that we were fortunate enough to be offered to stay here not only free but they also offered us free meal tickets through out our stay and gas mileage reimbursement for when we did have to drive back home. The facility is beyond what I had I expected it to be. If I remember correctly, there is approximately 14 to 16 rooms. They each have two queen size beds, a tv, fridge, private full bathroom… almost the same kind of room you would see @ typical hotel. The room was updated and very clean. There are laundry rooms on each floor with several washer and dryers that are available to use once again, free of charge. There are 3 kitchens which any of the guests can use as they need. There is a furnished game room downstairs with a tv, Xbox, wii, pool table, foosball table, arcade game, & play area. There is also a desktop computer, grill and outside patio area, elevator, pop machine, & pantry filled with food if needed to name a few of the other many accommodations. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Going through such a difficult period in my life was a whole lot easier because of this charity and I couldn’t be more thankful!

My home away from home. All of my daughters have had extended hospital stays and it is wonderful to have somewhere to rest that isn't the hospital! The staff are very caring and helpful. The kitchen is wonderful with updated appliances for guests to use and they also make some meals for house guests.
