Islamic Center of Fort Wayne on Chute Street is the 1st Masjid built in Fort Wayne by Malaysian and Pakistani students. It offers a variety of Islamic teaching programs. 5 times daily prayers and Juma Khutba. The center has a loving qualified Imam who does an excellent job serving local Muslim community. The center is conveniently located in Downtown Fort Wayne.

Salam. It’s closet mosque in downtown area. Friday prayer usually starts at 2PM during summer and 1 PM in winter and if you are trying to reach this mosque I had 2 unsuccessful attempts when I moved to Fort Wayne and despite voice msg they never called back but UEF School or Islamic Masjid at GOSHEN AVENUE is very active on all platforms of media. Try teaching them out if you want to know about which neighbourhood is good before you move in or any such community or religious questions you have. The parking inside is very limited and handful as of now but plenty of street parking in all over neighbourhood.

Alhamdullilah had the opportunity to stay a bit here for our khurooj. It’s a very nice masjid and the Sheikh is an amazing guy. It’s a welcoming community mainly Yemeni, and some brothers from Chad. They had Quran halaqah among other things Alhamdullilah. Everything was clean, the mic system was amazing, and the facilities were kept in proper condition. One thing I wish inshallah, is for there to be a bridge between this masjid and the Burmese community as I feel they are isolated. But alhamdullilah other than that amazing.
