You know I just got turned down by Catholic charities because I just left the South Plains pantry. After explaining to them that I had to give most of that pantry away because they gave you nothing but junk and my daughter is type two diabetic. The man behind the window pointed across the office to the table and said I’m sorry ma’am, but you can get anything you want off that table, which was a table full of bread. 🤬 Despite the fact that I just got a pantry, they should have never turned me away and had given me at least something according to my daughter’s diet instead of rejecting me. I’d like to add to my review 1/20/2026: I went to Catholic charities in the same miserable man help me. I say miserable because he doesn’t even have a smile on his face. He doesn’t have any hospitality as if he wants to be there working at the window. Nonetheless, they give you no protein in your pantry. I got four canned goods three or four sweet items and some bread that is not a freaking pantry.

I wanted to say Thank you to Sabrina and everyone at Catholic Charities. I appreciate all of the hard work and dedication you all have shown our beautiful city, county, community, people and most importantly our families! Have a wonderful week.

I didn't even know that there was help for grandparents like me that are raising the gbabies. But when my grandsons OT Therapist recommended me to the kinship program I was in awe. They helped me with diapers, wipes, clothing, even gift cards to Walmart and united. They are 😍😍😍

What a breath of Christian care this place has. It' s staff are all so kind and caring. They offer and do whatever they can to help in all situations where a need arises. Never condescending or too busy to listen and offer the kind of love that only Jesus could possibly inspire in this blessed group of people. They are truly compassionate. God bless them all.
