Everyone was so kind and helpful. Keith made me feel so much better during this difficult time. My Father's service was Beautiful. Keith made sure my Father's military service was honored, which meant so much to me. I am so thankful I chose Johns Ridouts Mortuary-Elmwood. They are the best in Birmingham!

Misty was helpful and knowledgeable. No High pressure sales pitch. She asked what kind of service we wanted and helped us make it what my Mother would have wanted.

Lynn is the best in the business. The night my Mom passed away she stayed on the phone with me making sure her body made it there and was picked up. She is caring, compassionate and professional. I can't think of a more thankless job, but she does it so well. She guided my brother through both of the losses of our parents. As tough as these days are she made it seem very easy. Nothing to worry about if she's in charge. Thank you Lynn.

We had a truly exceptional experience with this funeral home during one of the hardest times of our lives. From the very first text, Missy was beyond kind—gentle, compassionate, and full of grace. She walked me through every step of the process and always made herself available if I had questions, no matter how small. Her willingness to explain things in detail and her calming presence took such a weight off my shoulders. The manager, Jeff, was also incredibly kind and personable. Everyone we encountered treated our family with genuine care and respect. I’m so thankful for their support and would recommend them without hesitation.

Joshua Williams provided such an excellent service and tailored the entire experience to my families wants. My sister was only 36 and passed away unexpectedly. My family is from out of state(California) but my sister was married and her family is in Alabama. When I walked into the funeral home I was scared for the visitation and to see my sister and best friend in her casket. Joshua hugged me and comforted me each step of the way. The collection of odds and ends at the entrance to the waiting area and chapel were all reminders of how special my sister was. I was worried about how my sister would look but such an amazing job was done on her hair and make up. I didn’t want to leave her casket because it was like my sister was just laying in bed. Amazing service from the start to the end. Thank you so much!!!!
