Parndon Wood Cemetery & Crematorium

I visited here today to go see the Book of Remembrance. The room was so nicely decorated with a Christmas tree allowing visitors to write names of those we want to remember at this time. Everywhere was so neat, tidy and everything well displayed and the room had obviously been kept maintained as no wilting or sad looking flowers etc. I also roamed around the outside area where ashes are buried and I noticed how tidy everywhere was. Well done to all concerned and it is so respectful of all we have laid to rest there. Thank you. Susan Parker.

My lovely nanny was cremated here in a private ceremony with no service last Friday early in the morning. They let us know when it was going to be, so my mum & me were able to be there. We walked around the cemetery & it really is the best that I've seen. It was a beautiful morning & although tremendously sad, it is a special memory.

After watching via “livestream “(from America)the funeral of my brother Bernard yesterday I want to say how appreciative I am that you made this possible. Even though I would have obviously rather been there in person, seeing family and so many friends helped me say goodbye as well. Thank you to all the staff and thank you for making it so personable for Bernie who I will miss so very much. God Bless - Margaret

Set within the tranquil Parndon Wood nature reserve. A lovely ceremony held for my nan today overseen by a kind and friendly lady called Joan Browne. A very nice place for funerals. They also have here a memorial to those that lost their lives to Covid 19 which I think is a nice touch.

What absolutely wonderful people and such a lovely intimate socially distanced service held for my dear Grandad. I cannot thank the staff who welcomed us enough and a huge heartfelt thank you to the marvellous celebrate lady who performed the service. They made our little group of family members feel so contented and comforted during our service that I would without a doubt recommend anyone wanting to have a beautiful funeral service and serene send off for their loved ones, then this is definitely the tranquil place to have it held here.
