What the Ronald McDonald house represents is impactful and life changing for the multitude of people that will be blessed with the gift of services that they provide.
I, through the Community Relations Committee of the Orlando REALTOR Board, along with several other REALTOR's, have had the honor to provide, prepare and serve lunch for the current families at the Ronald McDonald House.
The families of the Ronald McDonald House are so graceful and they are truly impacted by the services rendered by the staff and the many Volunteers that relinquish their time to be of service to a cause that is far greater than themselves.
You don't know anything, until you know something, and something that I know is that- life, in its ever changing landscape is full of opportunities to give back in ways that cannot ever be matched by any monetary value.
Volunteering or just making donations to the Ronald McDonald House, is indeed one of of those opportunities.
The staff at the Princeton Street location are truly Angels of mercy, passion, morality, and humanitarian efforts.
I cannot wait until next month to volunteer with my fellow ORRA REALTOR members at the next Ronald McDonald House location.

My little guy spent six week in the Nicu and while I didn't stay at the RMH I did have a day pass for meals since I did not leave my little ones side to go home the whole time. This place has been a blessing not just for the food but also the atmosphere. Here I found other parents to connect with along with compassionate volunteers who provided me with healthy meals and genuine conversation. People have prayed with me, kept my family in their thoughts and sometimes just brought a smile to my face on days when I have felt down. In fact I have been so inspired by the mission of this place that my family plans to pay the kindness forward and volunteer to cook meals for families in the future.

We stayed in the Ronald McDonald house when we were at one of the most difficult times in our life. After completing our admission application we arrived at the Alden Road location. The house manager brought us to our room and gave us a tour of this amazing house and we were absolutely overwhelmed by their hospitality and generosity. My wife and I actually had tears that the Ronald McDonald house was completely there for us in many other ways other than a place to stay near a loved one. If you are considering staying here keep in mind that they will do a background check first and I can completely understand. You are a guest in this home of generosity and it is a house you are sharing with many families with children.
If your child is in a nearby health facility I highly recommend the Ronald McDonald house. They will bring hope and a smile when you need it.

The staff and volunteers provide a clean, beautiful home away from home with hot meals while loved ones recover. Taking away the stress of staying far and traveling back and forth. Easy one block walking distance.
