The therapist Grant Henkel saved my life. I was struggling with many problems, and he helped me fix them one by one. He's exceptionally good at what he does. I'd recommend meeting with him. If you can't, I'd find a way to. He's worth meeting with. I had severe OCD, and anxiety and he just made them very manageable. I never thought I'd achieve the level of peace ever. It was pretty dark for me. But he got me to a better place.

The Counseling Center of West Michigan truly stands out. From the moment you walk in, the front desk staff are incredibly welcoming and kind, and I've found the therapists to be knowledgeable and compassionate. The intake process is smooth and thorough, making you feel comfortable and understood. I highly recommend this center for anyone seeking a supportive and professional counseling experience.

So I just got off the phone with Liza, who was able to set me up for a first time appt. Everything done in 10 minutes. Let me just say that it's never easy or fun to be in a position where it's dealing with mental health. Right?:I had previously called a few other centers, who sent me in this LONNNNG TORTUROUS EVENT. I was on the phone for 48 minutes with Ellie Mental Health.I hung up with no appointment, even more confused 😕 than I was. I was told to call back or the counselor would call me. That never happened. So I called them this morning, hoping for an appt. I'm now speaking with a clone of the first one.😵💫
Guess what? She began with the same politically correct jibberish. I said I was in the system, and guess what else? She said I wasn't. The whole time being spoken to like I was some ignorant child. Like " thank you for that information" each time I replied!!
Anyway, getting back to Liza.......she was delightful, pure perfection. I felt heard, and validated, and truly cared for. I wish I could have hugged her. I hope she is appreciated by her employer.
I am sorry for such a long rant! I have a neurodivergent brain, and ADHD. 🤣🤣😆🤪
Can you tell???
Liza, thank you for making my day brighter. I needed that desperately.
The person on the phone, like her, are Unsung Heroes to many.
