The staffing here needs to be audited, they dont pick up phones or answer emails. The older lady Valerie is too old and cannot process and retain information fast enough to understand every individual circumstance thereby slowing down the supportive housing process.

I called to avoid homelessness - for help getting a Section 8-Pheps voucher for very low cost apartment rental!! The worker said it's not in my zip code and that you can't get a Pheps voucher if you don't meet the following criteria:live in a homeless shelter for months to years!!!!-I avoided homeless shelters at all costs, thank G-D!!, children under 18 living with you and SSI,SSD,EBT, Medicaid etc!! The last option was all I have from the list!!!! The worker said that they can't help me!!!! I was very disappointed in Catholic Charities!!!! They're supposed to help us poor, struggling people!!. PS:I got a settlement and bought a trailer, thank G-D to live in!! That was not from Catholic Charities!!!!

This place is horrible . They never answer the phone. They have a sign on the bell that reads do not ring bell call the number listed . But you like I said they never answer. Caseworker is a liar says she asked for updates on my transfer from hra but didn't. My apartment passed inspection in February and it's about to be July and still no word on my move. My roof leaks there mold in my current apartment and I have 2 young kids who suffer with asthma. When I told the caseworker miss Cinthia Marrero she said " if the conditions are uninhabitable go to Path. How about you do the job your paid to do or better yet I'll trade you . I wouldn't advise anyone to go to this office unless they wanna be stressed and depressed.
