I called them literally crying I am a single mom two kids was referred to them from 211 DCF & Tampa housing on the voice mail I left I advised how I was a survivor of DV back in 2016 I was beaten by my ex husband he went to jail got out strangled me all on paper work in duval county Jacksonville FL how I feel that relationship how I came to Tampa and have been financially stable for 4 years and was recently fired for racism at my job due to the immigration policies and I am a citizen but have a Latina face I received a call back showing no empathy just the same referrals that I have been calling all these past weeks all these charities take donations but never help those real families in need . My sons are both 13 & 8 and not even shelters help single moms unless I’m a RECENT DV survivor and I will never be a recent one because I fled that life and will never bring my children around abusive men again it just hurts me so much I try so hard to not give up because my kids need me and never does a church that is the place of GOD who is to protect and serve our community helps those truly in need . Idk how I am going to get us out of this bind I tried selling plasma but my health is so bad I don’t qualify I’ve applied for very where I’m either under qualified for a customer service job and over qualified for working at McDonald’s I pray GOD comes down and hugs me and tells me that everything will be okay and my children will not face homeless again that I will find another job that will provide me financial freedom and that an Angel please blesses us I am crying writing this review because who do I turn too when every single referral for help keeps denying me due to funding 🙏🏼💔 please if anyone sees this please help me

They help my husband prepare his green card papers, we did have to pay $500 but that’s low compared to the average lawyers.

I paid my money for them to properly prepare my Immigration documents, it wasn’t prepared properly. When I tried to reach out for them to correct the situation they never got back to me. I reach out to them numerous times.

They do help . They have great intentions although getting the services are challenging. But the mental health worker is amazing. Best therapist I have ever had and I've been in therapy 40 years!
