Amara Hospice

Thank you Amara hospice for being there in time of need for my brother. A HUGE Thank you to Patty RN for being there for us at any hour or time of day your fast responses and guiding us every step of the way. Also CNA Maria thank you for always being so kind and gentle with my brother. These 2 ladies are truly a blessing 🙏

I want to thank Amara Hospice for everything they did.. They went above and beyond with taking care of my Dad.. Even before he was on board with hospice Jose RN help us find nursing home placement for my Dad, he did everything he could to help my Dad transition from Psychiatrist Hospital. So many nursing homes had already denied him.. Jose was the only one going above and beyond and contacting different liaison from different nursing homes.. Once Das was admitted to McAllen Transitional Nursing center he was also under the care of Amara Hospice. I want to thank all the staff from hospice who provided an excellent care..Mrs Maria thank you for always keeping my Das fresh and clean you have a caring heart and was very patient with him.. Patty RN thank you for always being on top of everything and calling me as soon as you had a called from nursing home. Thank you for always making sure my Dad was comfortable and making it possible for me to arrive on time and spend last hours with him. Rosario thank you for providing us with the letter so my sister from Mexico could cross and be present at his funeral.. Chaplain than you for spending time with my Dad and bringing him goodies so he could enjoy.. From the bottom of my heart thank you so much Amara Hospice.. From Salinas Family..

Amara is amazing I have had the opportunity to utilize Amara’s hospice facility on two separate occasions My mom was under their care at the facility and they absolutely went above and beyond The staff is amazing … kind, considerate and caring They not only take care of the patient but also the family Now 6 years later my dad is under their care and nothing has changed I highly recommend Amara if you are in need of hospice I would not go anywhere else . They have become part of my family

This facility took care of my grandmother in her final days. We had a lot of family come in from out of town and none of us wanted her to be by herself at anytime. They were very welcoming of the entire family. When her time came they were passionate, caring, and very respectful. I was very happy my grandmother spent her last days comfortable in their care. They did everything to make sure she wasn't in any pain or discomfort. They also communicated very well with us (the family). I'd like to give my endless thanks to the doctor, and nurses that helped with the care of my grandmother.

My mother was here for 6 weeks before she passed away. Excellent responsive staff, exceptional care given to her. Large single rooms with overnight sleeping accommodation for a family member to stay.
