Heart of Texas Cremation San Antonio

Last month my mother passed away suddenly in Texas. I live in a different state. I was incredibly overwhelmed, didnt know exactly what to do and very upset. I started to look up funeral homes in the area and happened upon Heart of Texas Cremation. I read some of the reviews as many do, and saw others found them kind and professional. I took a chance and called. I forget the name of the lovely woman I spoke to on the phone at first but she was very sweet and comforting. After filling out my proper paperwork, I recieved a call from Marina Reyna. After she expressed her condolences, she explained that she would be my funeral director and took me through the process of having my mother cremated. She was kind and patient as I asked a million questions. She kept me updated on each step as it was happening. I cant say enough how I appreciated that. She took an incredibly hard situation, and made it a little easier for me. I would recommend her and Heart of Texas 10 times over. Losing a loved one is hard enough to begin with, having kind people help with this process means everything. Thank you Marina and the lovely ladies that work for you.

If I could give this non-caring company a ZERO, I would! I live out of state and my 'Big Brother' was found deceased on his apartment floor. I was devastated and had to try and take care of things from another state. My wife and I flew down to San Antonio for a week to try and go through his apartment. I called Heart of Cremations and I had nothing but problems. Not one person I talked with showed ANY sort of compassion whatsoever and never had anyone offer their condolences. All they cared about was their money. Therefor, I went to PUENTES AND SONS FUNERAL HOME. This business is a 10/10!! I can't begin to tell people how great they were to us. If you want someone who will take care of your loved one...DO NOT go with Heart of Cremations San Antonio!!

Samantha Zamora is an outstanding employee of Heart Of Texas Cremation whose kindness and compassion have helped me get through a difficult time. I'm extremely grateful to Samantha for helping me understand the cremation process with as little pain as possible. Whatever her salary is, it's not half enough! To my mind, she is an example of what a decent human being should be. She has my profound thanks.

Amazing place. Losing my father so unexpectedly was overwhelming, and I did not know where to begin. Marina was compassionate, and her voice was soothing. She not only helped me with their business, but since my father was retired military, also gave me tips on dealing with the VA, which was invaluable. Hope no one has to go through this, but if you do, PLEASE reach out to Marina and the staff.

Heart of Texas Cremation and Samantha, funeral director took such great care of my family during this very sensitive time. Everything was respectful and handled with the utmost care. From my first phone call to the very last. They were very responsive, going above and beyond. Their prices are also very reasonable making a difficult time a little bit easier. Highly recommend!!
