Ronald McDonald House was there for me and my baby in March 2 1993. I was allowed to see my baby every single day because of Ronald McDonald house. My daughter is 32 now. Healthy and thriving. I give back to this place every time I can. Thank you Ronald McDonald House. Pam H.

The Ronald McDonald House is a special place where parents can stay close to their children while being cared for in either St Joseph Candler or Memorial Hospital in Savannah, GA. The parents and direct families of these children stay within minutes distance at no cost to them. They are fed three square meals, they have access to laundry and a variety of snacks to choose from. The RMH is a family oriented environment that eases the parents of these children of the stress and worry of being away from their child during health treatment. All of these ammendaties are free of cost. Courtesy of Ronald McDonald and friends.

How I didn't think I would miss the sorta creepy Ronald Mcdonald pictures....
This place in savannah was wonderful. We stayed around 2 weeks, and got transferred to Augusta, GA. Thankfully we were accepted to stay in the Ronald Mcdonald House there as well. It is nothing like Savannah's, though. Savannah's is homey and the staff is amazing! They were always quick to ask how you are and your family's progress. The food there was wonderful, local restaurants would donate and I'm sure the staff had hand in coordinating that. Also, I miss Willow, the therapy dog! Just having a dog smell was very helpful. Augusta, feels more like a hotel. I'm still very thankful. But learning to never take anything for granted! Especially the dead silence, or creepy clown pics. Oh! And the wonderful McDonald's coffee the staff would make fresh! Wonderful place. Donate if you can. They're awesome for families needing the boost!

Some of the rules are a bit too much such as you can only go home to visit your other children and family once a week for 24 hours but if you have a doctor's appointment that home visit is counted out because of the appointment unfortunately but the house was really nice and clean and the other room mates were quiet and friendly. The house dog is super cute also and a great friend when needed! It's definitely a blessing to have a close place to stay while your child is in the hospital.

Staying in Ronald McDonald house means you already have a lot going on. This pace was a true blessing. The rooms were nice, shower was great, food was tasteful and even had snacks. The laundry has all kinds of detergent for washing clothes. Staff was the best and very accommodating. Parking was nice and simple. Really a great establishment for helping out families truly in need.
