I absolutely cannot say enough about Alex! Our hearts were absolutely broken losing my brother a month ago, but she has treated me like absolute family since first meeting her! She answered every single question, never let a text go unanswered and helped make everything go smoothly in such a sad situation. I cannot recommend Berry Highland West, Alex and all the ladies at that location enough. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! You are absolutely amazing!

This was my first experience dealing with a mortuary. To be honest, we chose Berry Highland because it was convenient to our residence. Our choice proved to be the best decision we could have made. The personnel are very experienced and seemed to be dedicated to assisting the family. No question was left unanswered nor did we feel we were ignored. They treated us with professionalism and compassion. When we were dealing with the hardest decisions, they were there assisting and supporting us.

Persons taking body were respectful, professional and caring. Administrative work to move across state lines worked well. Cooperation with Virginia Funeral Home was flawless. No issues from my side. I was pleased.

When we were faced with the tragic death of our son, Berry Highland West was so fantastic to work with. Everyone was so kind and compassionate. Alex walked us through the process and made things as easy as she could. Carla has been fantastic in helping us design our son's cremation bench.

My dad passed away very unexpectedly and our family was devastated. Berry Highland was incredible to work with. Not only because of their kindness, thoroughness and patience, but the planning and service was perfect. Alex listened to everything we wanted or didn’t want, executed everything perfectly and with incredible eloquence. All in 48 hours! Carla was wonderful and kind for post-services follow up and very accommodating by coming to my house. I can’t recommend them enough for your funeral services.
