Bunker's Memory Gardens

If I could give this place zero stars, I would!!! These people and this place have NO idea what they are doing with your loved one after they pass. This place claimed they submitted all the licenses and claims of my mother’s passing and THEY NEVER DID!!! My father who is 77 has had to go back and forth to the SS office, bunker never submitted the proper paperwork so funds have still been deposited as if our loved one is still alive. The SS office told my dad bunker dropped the ball totally. NOTHING and I mean NOTHING was turned into the SS office about her passing. And today; my father found out if Bunker submitted the proper paperwork LIKE THEY CLAIMED and knew what they were doing - my mom’s hard work would’ve been given back to her in a SS lump sum. BUT NOW, ITS TOO LATE!!! THEY NEVER TURNED IN THE DOCUMENTS, SO MY FAMILY RECEIVES NONE OF IT THANKS TO BUNKER. stay away!!!!!! THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR LOVED ONE AND FAMILY!!!

Imagine visiting your mothers memory marker on Mother's Day and finding this. Completely covered by a mound of dirt. I've had to clean this area before, dirt weeds etc. But this is so beyond comprehension how you can have such a blatant disrespect for someone's memory. No one there, it was Sunday after all. So I called the answering service. I have yet to have received a call back. Don't know if it has been cleaned . Guess I'll find out on Memorial Day when I return and also visit my brother and father. (Both veterans) Never thought to bring a shovel to a graveyard, but if all that dirt is still there I guess that's what I'll need.Maybe some other time I'll tell you of how I tried to take care of my final expenses and have a spot next to my mother. Only to find out after a year of making payments, the location of the plot was nowhere near my mom.

Adam Zalesny is an outstanding employee who works at Bunkers Memory Gardens. When I had to make sudden changes in my mother’s burial plans, he was so empathetic, understanding, took action to help me finalize the changes of plans that I needed to get done. He emailed me, phoned me and supported me and made sure my mother’s urn arrived safely to my home. He was instrumental in receiving my refund. I could rely on him 100 per cent of the time to return my calls and keep me informed of everything. You are a 5 star employee. My family and I thank you very much for all your help.

My grandparents are buried here. They purchased the plot back in the 1960s when they first married. My grandma was buried here in 2015 and my grandpa was buried in 2022. I have witnessed, first-hand, the complete lack of care at this property. My grandparents are buried in the NW corner and its completely obvious that they do not maintain this portion of the property (my grandparents' neighbors were buried 25+ years ago). I regularly find the grounds unkept, the grass not watered, and I have personally exterminated three ant colonies on the gravesite. Also, make sure you keep the cleaning schedule handy because they will toss all decorations even if they're placed in approved vases (I had three vases installed for over $500). If you have any amount of respect for your loved ones, do not bury them here.

Do not put your loved ones in this cemetery. It is so poorly kept. Dead patches of grass, dirt patches, dead flowers tossed in the road, road path looks like a broken down street with cracks and pot holes. It broke my mothers heart to see my brothers grave stone poorly kept. It had tire marks on his grave stone, no regard for the deceased, also surrounded by dirt and patches of dead grass. We had to take my mother away from there in tears. It looks like an abandoned field. Not worth the money spent. Shame on the people that run this cemetery. So disgusted with this place. Loved ones do not deserve to be disrespected in this way!!! UPDATE: After speaking with the owner and expressing my concerns, I waited a month before I went back to check on my brother's grave. The head maker was cleaned up and looks better and we appreciate that, thank you. However, the grounds are horrible. The picture you see with green grass is not what this cemetery looks like, the grass is dead and there is dirt patches sad to say. I took pictures to show, judge for yourself. Do your loved one the respect and honor they deserve and check out other cemeteries. I recently found a beautiful place for my mother.
