Understandably I was nervous to see a psychiatrist for my issues. I wanted my friend to be on a phone call with the therapist I was going to see. However my friend has periods where they have to be bed ridden and can't move for long periods. So I missed two appointments and they charged me a cancellation fee. It wasn't until after that it was explained to me in an email what the first appointment would entail. I found out there was no time for her to call in. So I asked for the cancellation fee to be refunded since the only reason I was cancelling is because my friend couldn't be there and I would've went to the first appoint by myself if I'd have known there was no time for my friend to be on the phone. Went back and forth with them and talked to the billing department and they refused to refund me even though this was their fault. I'll be going elsewhere.

I’ve been seening Dr Amanda Keffer I’ve been a patient of hers for almost 3 years. She’s always upbeat and accepting of your concerns and problems. I’m in great hands under her care

We were scheduled with this group for a Wednesday evening session two weeks in advance of the appointment. The day before they call to say the therapist needed to reschedule. After multiple phone calls, I was finally able to get in touch with scheduling. They said they don’t have any therapists who could ever do Wednesday evenings. So I’m not sure how or why we were ever scheduled for that time. The scheduler highly encouraged a televisit. Although I was reluctant, I agreed. When she went to schedule a time for a televisit she said that they don’t have anything available. I responded “I guess we will have to pursue other options then.” The scheduler was practically giddy in saying “Sounds good. Have a great day!” I feel like this place is just a front. I can’t imagine doing business this way and receiving 5 star reviews.

Well, with my therapist, Renae Sever, I've had nothing but positive experiences; she's been a lot of help. My boyfriend also gets counseling here, and he's also had really good experiences.

My husband and I have had a wonderful experience working with Lauren at Counseling & Wellness Center of Pittsburgh. We were married this past spring and Lauren has helped us significantly as we learn to come together to parent our teenage daughter, my stepdaughter and his biological daughter from a previous relationship. Lauren was understanding and quick to learn our unique, yet specific needs. She is extremely accommodating and respectful. We sought her counseling expertise to guide us as we learn to work together as parents. She has exceeded my expectations and continues to be an invaluable aide to us as we navigate this new chapter in our lives.
