Veterans Memorial Park

Friendly place, nice park very quiet and peaceful.

I've been to Veterans Memorial Park several times. The city does offer a lot - from music & food truck nights in the summer, to the Cairns Arena rinks for hockey games or public skating, Spark the Park light displays over the holidays, and the play structures for those with young kids when meeting up with friends. My family and I are big fans of this park and the activities there. The only drawback is that parking can be a bit of a challenge and you may have to circle the lot at least a few times - which shows that the events can be fairly popular. However, I've never left because I couldn't park!

One of my son’s favorite places to go play. There’s so much room for him to run freely. Any time we’ve gone it hasn’t been too busy. There’s always parking. The playground area is always clean

It was great for the eclipse viewing and is very spacious for other activities

Super cute, clean, nice playground, and the fields are well maintained. Looks like there’s walking trails as well. Great spot
