Amedisys Hospice Care

The nurses/aides/support staff have been beyond compassionate and professional. They are truly committed to the utmost care for the patients and the family during this critical time. We have been blessed to have them be there for us. Just a few have been constantly in our lives (aids - Aallyiah, Alexis, nurses - Jodi, Shawn) have been instrumental in the care and we are beyond grateful, proud that the are part of this journey. Excellent home care was given to our loved one however you do need to be aware that they do not do any type of IV sedation. The home aid person was extremely kind and caring.

Amedisys did a fantastic with my mom during her hospice care in Gatesville. From the beginning they were prompt and were excellent in communicating and taking care of my mom.. 5 stars The nurses, social worker and chaplain were all supportive and excellent to work with.

Our mother was put on hospice after her fight with cancer. I cannot express how incredible the whole team are. They were so supportive from the minute they added her to services and are still even though we lost her on Oct 3rd. They really helped our family during this rough time. Highly recommend this company. I would give them more stars if i could.

Everyone here was very professional and compassionate. My mom was incredibly stubborn and did not want to accept the fact that she needed help. They were patient and worked with her and helped eventually gain her trust. They were responsive and accepted a ton of my phone calls with random questions. There were times they were at my moms house more than one time in a day. Great experience overall, other than the whole "mom had to die" bit.
