Our family is truly grateful for the personalized care and full range of services provided by Malama Ola. From Dr Winnie Suen, to Moani the nurse, Chaplain Kurt, social worker Mike and grief counselor Claudine, the attentive, patient and expert care made managing our mom’s care not only possible but positive even in the toughest moments. Having excellent hospice in place was invaluable for responsiveness, escalation of services as needed and closure at the most difficult time of our mom’s passing.

I want to thank the wonderful staff at Malama Ola from Kim, Nadine, and all of the additional folks who I had a chance to connect with and who comforted my Dad. From care services to playing music to simply accompanying my Dad, they spent the time at his last few weeks. I am appreciative of their communication, attention to detail, empathy, and professionalism. What you do is a tremendous benefit to the community!

We had such a warm experience during such a emotional fragile time. Every aspect of our hospice journey was handled with so much care. We used another agency for another family member and Malama Ola exceeds in all areas. Richelle and Roxy are true angels.

The services of Malama Ola are above and beyond. From the time the RN Jun walked through our door that first visit until the inevitable death of my beloved husband of 56 years we knew God had provided them. They had two jobs...#1 was to help my husband along his journey with dignity and as much comfort as possible. They accomplished that with professional skills and the human touch which amazed me day after day. #2 was to keep me sane throughout the process and provide me with help attending to his needs so I could keep him home until the end. When I would be ready to fall apart, they were there for me. The social worker assigned to our case, Allison, was kind, loving and patient with me. The nurses were encouraging yet always told me the truth. There was never a time that I contacted one of them, that they didn’t make time for me and Don always looked forward to RN Leslie’s FaceTime visits. She made him laugh and got him to talk more than expected. I love them all and highly recommended each and every one of them for end of life care. My family knows to request them if and when I need them for my own journey home.
