Sheffield Family Life Center Assemblies of God

Since I was 15, God’s spirit has covered Sheffield. This is the church where I found God. I’m now 44, married my husband at the chapel when I was 26. Our daughters ages 25, 20 and 13 have only known Sheffield because we’ve never felt comfortable anywhere else.

I do not attend this church for services, but have attended several concerts. Seating is comfortable and there are no bad seats, and full view from all seats. Great smaller venue for concerts.

I attended the CeCe Winans concert here last night with my boyfriend. The concert was wonderful yet l tried contacted the vending ahead to see about handicapped seating. My boyfriend is 6,6 and his knee smashes against the seat in front. He also had a terrible time walking up and down the stairs. We asked if there was an elevator but were told no. Also, it was incredibly hot in the balcony seating. I would give 5 stars had it been so hot and had no size inclusive seating.

I attended a few services a number of years ago, and I enjoyed the services. He worship has always been good at Sheffield, regardless of the event. This particular event was a women's conference, and I had a great time. The members were nice and friendly. They had a large Police/Sheriff presence, so I felt safe. The parking lot, church, and restrooms were clean.

I visited this church during a visit to Kansas City and I was very impressed. The members of the church were extremely kind and welcoming. The church was very diverse, this is one of the most diverse churches I have ever attended. The singing and praise portion of the service was outstanding, and the message during the service was very good. The next time I visit Kansas City I will attend this church. I recommend visiting this church if you are in the area.
