I can’t say enough about this funeral home and the staff that worked there. We honestly felt like they were more family than people running a business. The sincerity along with the passion they showed was truly Amazing and comforting. As long as I ever have any say so I will never Send any family member anywhere else other than Wendt Funeral home. In my eyes, they will be family for life, and all of them are truly appreciated for the Love they showed us. Finding this place was an absolute blessing, losing my mother, was one of the hardest losses and they helped make it so much easier on us. Let me just add that this place was so much more affordable than any place we’ve dealt with, and it still was just as beautiful as any place we’ve dealt with if not better honestly. Like I said, I can’t say enough about this place I could go on and on. My family and I absolutely love this place and adore the staff. If you’re reading this, I know I told you before just wanna say it again thank you so so so much!

After personally watching the US Flag Retirement Ceremony today (20May 2026) at Wendt Funeral Home, my heart was touched as a veteran who has served for over 20 years and put my life on the line and served during two wars. Thank you Boo for a job well done. It would be my great honor if you provide the same respect and professionalism as I saw today for my funeral when my time on this earth is done. You and your staff consistently go the extra mile and do what's right. You have my business and every veteran out there, trust me, these guys are top notch, bar none. They got your back.

Everyone associated with Wendt Funeral Home that we came into contact with was genuinely respectful and compassionate. They made a very difficult time very easy for us to make decisions and thought of every detail. Our family is extremely grateful.

From the moment I received works the funeral home was receiving my sister I was met with nothing but the most warm, kind service from Earl and his staff. The entire process was difficult for me understandably because my sister passed so suddenly, but Earl was patient with me and insisted that we were gonna get through the process to take care of things and when he said “we” I knew she was in good hands. I met with Earl in person to discuss arrangements to have my sister sent to Alabama for her service and the entire week before we had in person talks I was constantly updated on all things I needed to complete the process and the day of our in person meeting, it was everything I expected; professional, warm hearted, easy conversation and patience. I can’t say enough great things about Earl and Wendt. I truly thank you for making one of the most horrible experiences for me comforting and a bit easier during such a difficult time.
