Opal Cremation of Orange County

Losing a loved one is one of the hardest events in most people’s lives. When my mother passed away in April 2026, I contacted Opal Cremation to help with the transition. I was met with compassion and empathy. Fubuki was transparent and kept me updated every step of the way. From picking up my mom’s body to releasing her ashes, the staff was kind and loving.

Opal Cremation was on point for everything. From the first phone call to the final interaction they treated us with respect and professionalism. Yasi and Sam worked as a team, any question I had, they responded quickly and with reassurance. They guided us through the process, and always patiently answered each and every question. They handled everything with dignity and respect. They provided us a 'soft landing' during a very difficult time. Their efficiency was impressive, and very reassuring since we had time lines to meet our Celebration of Life date. We would highly recommend Opal Cremation.

Opal deserves more than five stars. From the initial call to talk about imminent death of my brother in law to the very end when he was released back to our care. Elaine is so supportive, kind and took in everything we shared about my BIL. To when the day came that he passed and the removal gentleman came. They were young but the absolute sweetest gentleman. They knew my BIL was a musician and we talked about his music and a few of the instruments they saw in the home. I was alone with my BIL because my husband and sister in law did not want to be there for the removal so I stayed with my BIL and both gentlemen were there for me with great kindness and support that meant so much more than they know. They showed great empathy, kindness and were so supportive. I said my final goodbyes, hugged my BIL and they welcomed me to walk him out . Their kindness really just stayed with me and made such a difficult time into a special memory in being able to say goodbye. I wish I knew their names but both removal gentleman were absolute angels. When my BIL was welcomed into the care of Opal every step of the way my family received great communication, kindness, and much support. The urn options were absolutely beautiful and we selected a wood urn with hummingbirds that we know he would have loved. I truly cannot thank Opal Cremation more. Everybody was incredible we received him back into our care quickly and were able to have a service right away and even afterwards Opal has been such a great and loving support for my sister in law and our family. Elaine and the team at Opal you all made a difficult time stress free and have been absolute angels to our family. Thank you so very much Opal Cremation. We are forever thankful
