I truly can’t say enough great things about this chef. For the past 8 weeks, they’ve been preparing home-cooked meals for me, and it has made such a positive difference in my day-to-day life. Every week, they personally delivered the meals right to my home, which made everything so convenient and stress-free. What really stood out to me is how much they genuinely listened. They took the time to understand exactly what I like, any preferences or requests I had, and consistently delivered meals that felt tailored just for me. Every dish has been incredibly flavorful, thoughtfully prepared, and something I genuinely looked forward to each week. It’s rare to find someone who combines this level of culinary skill with such reliability, care, and personal attention. You can tell they truly care about their clients and take pride in what they do. I’m beyond grateful for the experience and would recommend them to anyone looking for amazing, personalized meals and exceptional service.

We had the amazing pleasure to spend the evening with Lin. Very chill and personable and a true pleasure to have him with us for the evening. He handled everything and the meal was better than anything I have had, including at 5 star restaurants. I would highly recommend him and I can not wait until the next time we can enjoy his talents.

Chef Lin catered a dinner party for us and everything from setting the date to packaging leftovers was done with such precision and care and executed perfectly. His crew was wonderful, and they took great care in making sure we didn't have to do a thing. The food was beyond incredible, from the amazing appetizers and charcuterie board to the main course and incredible desert. They also created a special drink to go with each course. I can not recommend Chef Lin and his team enough and can't wait to have them back soon!

Chef Lin provided an incredible and memorable experience for my wife and me. He taught and guided us step-by-step as we prepared a wonderful steak dinner in our newly renovated kitchen. From the salad to the French torte, the meal was incredible. Chef Lin's attention to detail, emphasis on fresh ingredients, and talents as a culinary instructor make him the best in the business. I cannot recommend him enough for your event, large or small!

5 Star Service, 5 Star Food, 5 Star Smile! This was my first time finding a personal chef in the Virginia Beach area, and WOW did Chef Lin and the Tailored Chef team not disappoint! He was incredibly responsive and accommodating from the moment I first reached out to him, tailoring a delicious 3 course menu to our group of 16 (seasonal salad; freshly caught rock fish over beans and couscous; and home made chocolate torte). He was more than accommodating to a few dietary restrictions our group had, showed up promptly on time as discussed, and had a dinner service than ran like clockwork! Chef Lin, his lovely wife, and his Sous Chef Chris were incredibly friendly and personable the entire time. On top of it, finishing up the dinner and not having to do ANY cleanup was an added treat! HIGHLY recommend Chef Lin and team for a special evening - you won't be disappointed!
