Five Star Premier Residences of Reno

After exploring other options in the Reno/Sparks area, we decided to move to Premier Residences. It was an easy decision. As we approached the entrance on our first visit, residents greeted us with smiling faces. We asked how they liked living here, and every one of them gave the same enthusiastic answer: “We love it here.” Now we do too. The staff is exceptional -- attentive, knowledgeable, outgoing, and flexible in responding to individual preferences and needs. Their friendliness creates such a welcoming atmosphere that they almost seem like residents themselves. The amenities and daily activities speak for themselves and exceed those of other places we visited. When we moved in, we were pleasantly surprised to find that our apartment had been renovated -- as they do for all new residents. The building itself has an open, airy, modern design, with beautiful art throughout the common areas. The location is another major plus. We enjoy the excellent restaurants, downtown events, shopping, walking opportunities nearby and along the Truckee, and the close proximity to both the beautifully renovated Moana Springs pool and the duplicate bridge center, which are important to us. The residents are active, interesting, and come from diverse backgrounds. Bottom line: we know we made the right decision in moving here. Joanie and Rob

Premiere Residences of Reno has been nothing short of amazing for my Aunt since she moved here last month. She has never lived anywhere outside of her hometown in Massachusetts in her entire life and she is in her late 60s. Thank you to Jerry and his incredible staff for patiently working to help make this transition a graceful process for her. We are very happy with the facility, amenities and everyone who works diligently to make it such a wonderful residence!

Moving my very independent 94 year old father to be closer to family here in Reno I thought was going to be very difficult. From the first exploratory visit to Premier Residences of Reno to now was made so incredibly easy and stress free. Jerry Johnson basically held my hand during the entire process, from providing an apartment that would fit my father's needs perfectly to answering my numerous questions. His turn around time was quick and always accurate. Communication has always been key for me and Jerry's communication I feel always goes above and beyond. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help and call my father by name. The wait staff at the restaurant has been so friendly and always have smiles when greeting us. The food is very tasty and a wonderful variety. My father is thrilled with the daily fitness classes and the other activities they have to offer. All in all we cannot be more thrilled that we choose Premier Residences of Reno to start his "new" life here in Reno.

Five Star lives up to its name. I visited five different senior residences in my quest to help my parents find a safe, clean, caring environment as my dad was having some major health challenges that were difficult for my mother to manage. Jerry at Five Star bent over backwards to help me find a residence option for my parents in a very short time. My parents love the dining room, the cafe, the physical therapy available on site, and the workout room. I’ve eaten with them several times in the dining room and have been impressed with the menu choices, the portions, and the courteous staff. My parents have also commented to me about how friendly all of the residents and staff are. If you’re in the hunt for a comfortable and welcoming residence for a friend or family member, or for yourself, Five Star should be at the top of your list. I looked at many. This felt like “home.”
