My father was brought here early in the morning on December 9, 1999. I will never forget this place as the setting was park like with animals approaching and the rooms were more like someone’s bedroom. The nurses were absolutely amazing, empathetic and very caring. They spoke to us and let us know the different stages so we knew what to expect and gave us so much information in a very caring manner. I will always remember this place and it will always have a special place in my heart for how well they took care of my father. He was 58 r.i.p. Lawrence A Koehler ❤️🙏

My father recently spent his final days at the Cleveland Clinic Akron General Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center, and I can say without hesitation that the care he received there was nothing short of extraordinary.
From the moment we arrived, we were met with compassion, professionalism, and a deep sense of humanity. The entire team—nurses, caregivers, support staff—treated my father with such grace and dignity. They were truly guardian angels, helping him transition peacefully while supporting us through one of the most difficult times of our lives.
A special thank you to Janet Ziol, the certified nurse practitioner, whose empathy and skill made such a meaningful impact, and to Matt, the Facility Manager, who handled our situation with great care and concern despite facing operational challenges. Both went above and beyond, and we are forever grateful.
The environment was calm, respectful, and filled with a sense of quiet compassion. We always felt heard, supported, and never alone.
I will be forever thankful for the kindness this team showed our family. If your loved one is entering this final stage of life, know that they will be in loving, capable hands at this facility.

This care center is one of the greatest gifts anyone who is ill or has an ill loved one could ever ask for. The staff here are the most compassionate, loving, and gentle humans on earth. I will be forever grateful to them for their compassion for my father and for me. The facilities are incredible and offer a sense of serenity for visitors and patients alike. The rooms overlook a wildlife refuge where deer, turkeys, and birds gather. I can think of no better place for my loved one to spend their final days, and no one I trust more to care for him.

Any good reviews are 100% falsified. Facility was terrible. Instead of allowing you to focus solely on your loved one; Debbie, Crystal (nurse aide), Jennifer, and Matt (manager) focused on provoking family members of patients. It was disheartening to witness, especially seeing how family is there as their loved one is in the process of transitioning. They won’t provide comfort food for the patient ( but they will eat yours; as they ate my grandmother’s popsicles we bought for her), make promises they cannot keep, and create a hostile environment. I believe they dislike when family advocates for their loved one, so instead of being empathetic, you’ll be greeted with an ego war. Avoid this facility if you want a peaceful experience while grieving. Unfortunately, the bad apples within the staff outweigh the good. The amount of documentation I collected is horrendous. Mean spirited nurses with the exception of Leslie! Leslie was amazing.

Our Mom was admitted here during the last week of her life last September. Every single person who took care of her treated her like she was a member of their own family. Our Mom was a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and we have the greatest respect for anyone in the medical field, even more so for anyone who works in Hospice. The grounds/landscaping was immaculately cared for and the interior felt like a home as much as it can. I would highly recommend the Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center to anyone who has to make the difficult decision of admitting a loved one to Hospice. Our entire family would like to thank the staff for everything you did to make our Mom comfortable in her last days.
