The Gardens of Modesto

We're so lucky to have found Gardens of Modesto for my mom. The staff actually care, it's not just a job for them. Everyone is so friendly and strive to make the facility feel like a home because it is home for the residents. Each living area has its own family room and family type dining area that makes it feel cozy. I could no longer keep mom safe at home, so this is the next best option. I know she's well taken care at the Gardens.

I can’t say enough good things about The Gardens in Modesto and the care they provided for my uncle. Making the decision to place a loved one in memory care is never easy, but from the very beginning, the staff made our family feel supported and reassured. My uncle was treated with genuine compassion, dignity, and patience every single day. The caregivers took the time to get to know him as a person—his routines, his personality, and even the little things that made him smile. That level of personal attention meant so much to us. The facility itself is always clean, calm, and welcoming, with a safe environment that’s clearly designed with memory care residents in mind. There were also engaging activities that helped keep my uncle stimulated and involved, which made a noticeable difference in his mood and overall well-being. Communication with the staff was excellent. Anytime we had questions or concerns, they were responsive, kind, and transparent. It gave us real peace of mind knowing he was in such capable hands. I’m truly grateful for the care and respect they showed my uncle during his time there. I would absolutely recommend The Gardens to any family looking for a trustworthy and compassionate memory care facility.

This review is long over due. I cannot say enough positive things about the Gardens of Modesto!! My parents were residents there from Fall of 2020 to Fall of 2023. During this time, I was under a lot of stress trying to oversee my parent's needs and was not the easiest person to deal with. The team at Gardens treated me with patience and respect as they knew it was an incredibly difficult time for me and they were amazing at caring for my parents. They showed my parents great care, love and dignity as they both approached the end of their lives. Thank you so much Gardens of Modesto for everything!! Special thank you to Rashmika, Praneeta, Marlene, Maria, Linda and Lindsay!!! I just found out today that Lindsay is the new Executive Director which is wonderful!!! Lindsay was incredible and always stepped in to help in every roll while my parents were there. I know the community is just going to keep getting better and better. Thank you all so much again for everything you did to make my parent's lives meaningful and special.

The Gardens Assisted Living The Gardens Assisted Living in Modesto is absolutely wonderful. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. The community is always clean, welcoming, and beautifully maintained—and the building smells amazing every time you walk in. You can truly feel the warmth and pride of the team. Highly recommend!

Theresa and her team are a powerful testimony to caring dementia professionals. Such a blessing to have this beautiful community caring for our most vulnerable loved ones with memory loss in Modesto. Outdoor walking paths, companion apartments for purpose and connection…I’ve never seen a more family oriented community helping families have better interactions with their loved ones.
