Families First Funeral Care & Cremation Center

Families First was amazing. We had a service for my Mother in Law on June 12th, the staff communicated very well with us, kept us up to date with all of the arrangements, and had my Mother in Law looking beautiful and ready for the family to View. Angie and Breeanna were the best. It was brought to my attention that a Family member made a 1 STAR Review and I want to apologize for that. It had nothing to do with the Service, it was more of a Family issue that is unresolved. Families First did an amazing job and I would refer them to anyone in the Savannah area.

I don't usually leave reviews but this one is deserving. Losing your loved one is hard enough especially when that person is your best friend, your go to for everything under the sun, the one person you run to when anything good or bad happens, having to go through the process of the burial/cremation and paperwork of it all makes it harder. It's a constant replay of that loss. To have a place that not only makes that process easy but reaches out to check on you during that time of grief is a God send. I wish our loved ones could live forever and we wouldn't need funeral parlors or crematories but unfortunately that's not how life works and if I had to pick someone to take care of my loved one again it would be Families First. The staff was amazing and patient and understanding. It didn't feel like another check coming in the door at all. They truly made us feel cared for and still continue to reach out and check on how we're doing a month later. And I'm truly grateful for each and every one of them.

Families First Funeral Care was recommended by a family member who used the services previously. I had a very unique circumstance handling everything from out of state, with the help of my relatives there. Families First was very accommodating to the needs of my family, and was most professional and caring in handling every detail. All of their staff were always kind and respectful and made a stressful situation possible beyond what was expected. I greatly appreciation that Family First was there for our family. They even reached out weeks later to see how I was holding up.

I am impressed with Families First Funeral Care and Cremation. My late partner and I had chosen cremation only, and their young employee who retrieved his body from hospice was extremely kind and thoughtful. My initial meeting at their facility went well too. Everyone was polite and compassionate as we discussed their services, and I was relieved no one pressured me. The fees were much less than I expected! I observed a small part of another family’s funeral service while I was there, and it appeared to be quite lovely. Families First sent me a nice card and recently sent a follow-up text to ask how I am doing. I highly recommend them!

Families First was absolutely wonderful! From the gentleman that picked up my grandmother in the middle of the night on a Sunday to Amanda who helped me set up her cremation. Very sweet, kind, and compassionate people and quick to respond to emails and phone calls. They were also able to take my grandmothers fingerprints for me since I was unable to do that before she passed. I definitely recommend them to anyone! Especially if you are stressed about the costs of cremation, they are one of the lower cost options available! Thank you again for taking care of her!
