We were at the end of our ropes with my 87 year old mother. Dying in extreme pain and told by doctors they could not help her or even prescribe pain medications. We decided to call Assured Hospice and they jumped into action, taking over, and with in days my mother was getting pain and other unique issues under control, and help at home, giving us more months of life and quality of life. The level of communication, speed and compassion has blown me away. 2.5 days after we started with assured hospice my mother spent a half hour on the phone with me. I cant remember the last time that happened. The negative here is no local hospitals, ers, doctors, first responders could provide information about a service like this and that is shameful. But now we get to take a deep breath, and her 81 yr old sister taking care of her can as well. Do not call any other home hospice company, you just found your solution.

At first, it was a good experience, but as the nurses started visiting things got a little iffy as our almost 98 year-old grandfather was placed on hospice. He has aortic stenosis and dementia, after a nurse visit, we got a call from the social worker saying that we needed to change someone's behavior that is going through dementia and sometimes says things that are inappropriate. These nurses are supposed to be trained and should not take offense to things that are said and should be able to care for these individuals without forming an opinion or getting butt hurt. I ran two adult family homes, and I've worked with hospice numerous times and never in my life have I ever experienced such lack of empathy towards an individual who is at the end of life and who has dementia. We cannot change his behavior or ask him to do so because he doesn't remember, and if he was in his right mind, he would not be saying things that are inappropriate. These nurses should be able to take things with a grain of salt, do their job, care for individuals in need and not call the family to add more stress to situations. I'm in complete disbelief!! if these nurses cannot come in and do their jobs with care and compassion, then they need to find new careers that fit their needs and feelings. What a joke!! be careful before letting these people in your home or around your aging and dying parent

I wish I could give them 10 stars. Everyone that we worked with was amazing. Hospice can be a scary thing if you have never experienced it and you want the best for your loved ones. Assured Hospice made the last months of my fathers life comfortable and were with us every step of the way. We are so grateful for the care team we worked with, Abby, Billy, Jennifer, Bruce, Devony, Kris and the countless others behind the scenes.
Thank you again for your kindness and compassion.

Having worked in Long Term Care for over 13 years, I have had the opportunity of witnessing the extraordinarily compassionate care and loving support the Assured Hospice staff provides all their patients. Whenever a family wants to learn more (or needs hospice or palliative care services), I immediately recommend Assured as the first choice. If they for some reason are unable to respond immediately they do not hesitate to recommend one of the other hospice services in the area - consistently placing the needs of the individual above any other priorities. In any industry, that is very rare these days. Their dedication to every single patient reflects unflagging consideration and patience. I highly recommend their services when a need arises.

I can't say enough about how wonderful these caregivers, nurses and support staff are. They work so hard to make sure their clients are comfortable and safe. Assured Hospice goes above and beyond any expectations you may have. Their kindness, help and professionalism is unmatched. Truly some of the warmest, compassionate people. 11/10 recommend.
