They treated my father with the utmost respect Kept us informed and updated

Most of the staff was very kind and provided great care for my Father. Although my dad was in some pain, he was being injected with pain medication every four hours around the clock. He didn’t even have a chance to voice if and how much pain he was in. He was never asked if he was in pain. Before entering the facility my dad was fully aware and able to speak regarding his condition. Once he arrived at Vitas, the next day he was non verbal and fully unaware of anything. I know he was in the end of life stage, however I truly believe that the constant medication being given speeded up the process. When I mentioned my concerns to one of the nurses, he had no empathy at all. I will never consider placing a loved one in this hospice facility. This place gives me nightmares.

The nurses at Vitas are very professional. They took wonderful care of my sister-in-law. They bathed her, brushed her hair and applied lotions to her skin. Her room was spotless. My sister-in-law was always smiling and never once complained. Her visitors were welcomed and treated respectfully. I told them how good they made me feel whenever I visited. In my opinion, they are "angels on earth".

Horrible place !!!! Yes people go there for their end of life but how they treat their clients, patients & etc is disgusting . My mother had a bed sore the size of a melon. When I asked what her care plan was they basically said the basics . They didn’t even try to brush her teeth . They didn’t give her no fluids or nothing just basically let my mother deteriorate right before my eyes . She had scratches/bruises on her arms inner thighs When I come there I had to give her water and or change her because they stayed on their phones . Most of them are rude & doesn’t care. I hate this place so much . The day we was gonna remove her all of a sudden she passed . That made me extremely skeptical of this place . I will never recommend this place to no one . Oh and don’t ask questions because they get even nastier when you know more than they think !

My father was there only a short time, less than24 hours. The facilities , the staff and the compassion was second to none. Everyone there made my family very comfortable as we were with my dad in his final moments. They were very liberal in letting my family visit as we didn’t know how much time was left. I want to thank all of you for being so compassionate and understanding of our situation
