Heartland Hospice

We were immediately comforted by Nurse Chrissy's calm presence, her depth of knowledge and willingness to educate us, her recognition that my dad needed daily visits and her commitment to being the one to make those visits and partnering with the staff at Catholic Care Center to make sure he got what he needed around the clock. Her care transformed his end of life from one of pain to one of comfort and peace and we will forever be grateful to Heartland Hospice for sending her to us! Special shout out to Social Worker Jeanette for helping us find our way to them.

I want to thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to spend the time with my mom. I was expecting more time but with the quick response in handling everything to get my mom home so that she was more comfortable and to be with her loved ones we were able to spend that time to love on her. Thank you guys so much. If you have a loved one going to hospice I recommend them they are loving and caring and helped so much so I can personally spend the hours I had with my mother. Most of all the kindness and promptness. Thanks again

This review is in regard to a fabulous representative for Heartland Hospice by the name of Hayley. From the moment I answered her first call in regard to my mother who was at that time in Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Hospital, I immediately knew that she actually really cared and was so genuine. In this very difficult time for my family trying to make the best decision for our loved one, she was eager to help in any way possible. Through those couple of days while making our decision, she would continue to just check in with me to ask how my Mom was. In today's world, unfortunately it is very hard to find a genuinely caring person and has absolutely made the right decision for herself to work within the Hospice industry! Laurie K.

I (unfortunately) experienced Heartland Hospice for my husband for over a month. Each person I met and dealt with, was compassionate, kind and caring. My phone contact was Candace but I never met her. Professional and friendly. We had Kelly and Chrissy for nurses, Amy for bath aid, Deanne for our social worker and Chaplain Mark, who also performed the funeral. At the office I met 3 sweet young ladies who worked in the office - also full of compassion and very sweet. I think it takes special people to work in hospice and ALL of these sweet souls DEFINITELY are very SPECIAL!! Thank you each one for making this part of my journey a little less stressful for me.
