“This assisted living facility provides reliable care and a supportive environment for its residents. The staff are attentive, and my client’s needs are met with professionalism. While no place is perfect, I’ve seen genuine effort to maintain comfort, safety, and dignity for those who live here.”

Amazing community! Had to make the hard decision to move my father-in-law into independent living and he’s now thriving! The staff at Southside Gardens is INCREDIBLE!
Jeri took us for a tour on a Saturday and gave us all the information we needed to make our decision. She really made us feel welcome and took excellent care of us. She made the decision easy for us to move him in!
The other staff from kitchen, maintenance, front desk, and management truly care about the residents that live on the property. Thank you so much!

Helpful and polite staff. Facility is clean and updated, but what earns them five stars are the people that work there and also the residents that live there. Family owned and operated and it shows! Great place!

I cannot say enough great things about the staff at Southside Gardens. My Mom has lived there now for nine years both in Independent Living and Assisted Living. I would put the care that she receives up against any in the state. They treat her like family and it allows me to feel totally comfortable to carry on with my other responsibilities. I have complete confidence in their management and caregivers and am grateful to have found the perfect community for Mom to enjoy this season of life.

My grandfather (PawPaw) lived at Southside Gardens for a couple of years after my grandmother (MawMaw) passed, until he passed. I was really worried about PawPaw because he was 10 years older than MawMaw becuase if I was him, I would be expecting to pass first, but that's not what happened.
But I have to say, he was really happy at Southside Gardens for those couple of years. And it was a relief to see him so happy.
I think that the two worst things single seniors face are (1) loneliness and (2) lack of a good meal. Southside has an in-house kitchen that makes (from scratch) lunch and dinner every day. Lunch is can be taken in the common dining area in more sociable atmosphere or delivered to their apartments. Dinner is delivered to their apartments. They have frequent social events like Poker Night and outings to the Gulf Coast casinos, and I am sure many other activities (but PawPaw always talked about those).
To summarize, it is a great place for seniors. Honestly anyone. I am 35/single and wanted to move in for the meals and the free casino van, but they wouldn't let me.
