RMHC is a lifeline for families who have children at the Dayton Children's Hospital. BSA Troop 27 of New Carlisle made a new pull tab bin in the likeness of the new House. Both will serve the community for years to come.

You feel the love when you walk through the doors. They keep the place spotless and the people that work there are so kind. We just went to drop off pop tabs, and I wish it were closer to where we live so I could volunteer

We stayed here for 10 days while we were training our sons service dog through 4 Paws For Ability. The staff is amazing, so caring, thoughtful, generous and they truly try to make it a home away from home. We felt so welcome and comfortable, it made being so far away from home (Minnesota) much more bearable. They feed you and have volunteer guest chefs a few times a week. Our last night there were 5 volunteers who make the best taco bar! Super delicious. They have fresh coffee made each AM and bottled water throughout. Our service pup was even able to pick a toy from the toy closet! Thank you RMH, we feel blessed we were able to stay here.

The Ronald McDonald House has every accommodation you could need, except diapers and wipes. I'm talking every personal hygiene item you could need.. soaps, razors, towels, lotions, toothbrushes and toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, and even q-tips. A very large and fully stocked kitchen and playroom. Delicious dinners were made and served everyday we were at the Dayton Ronald McDonald House. Very clean public restrooms and other facilities downstairs. Very nice rooms to stay in, with a personal restroom attached that included a sink, shower/tub, and a toilet. Super friendly and helpful staff. It was like staying at a hotel. There was also a really cool park right across the street for the kids staying at the Dayton Ronald McDonald House to be able to get out and play. The Ronald McDonald House made the fact that we had to stay away from our home for so long, seem not as terrible. I highly recommend this facility for any family in need of somewhere nice, friendly and clean to stay during a very difficult time in your lives. It's more affordable than you could imagine, with a suggested donation of $15 per night. We were informed however, no family is ever turned away due to an inability to pay. I do believe that you will enjoy staying at the Ronald McDonald House very much.

Rita is an amazing Executive Director! Her staff put their whole heart into making all guests at the house feel welcome. The radio-athon and December is always one of my favorite events of the year to participate in along with being a part of a great group called the red shoes society that helps raise money for the Ronald McDonald House charities throughout the year.
