Absolute perfection! Jewell Events catered our wedding at the Rookery and I cannot tell you how well it turned out. Exceeded all of my expectations. The food and service was simply amazing. Many of our guests noted that the food tasted like it was from a Michelin starred restaurant. ❤️ Greg and Jasmine are amazing and a delight to work with.

We only have amazing things to say about our experience with Jennifer at Jewell Events. She was super detail oriented and had great ideas that were executed to perfection - from mini espresso martini shooters to serving late night Taco Bell and McDonald's directly to the dance floor (a massive hit with the guests). The only thing that out did the work Jennifer did was THE FOOD. Everything was absolutely delicious, from the appetizers (shout out to the grilled cheese & tomato soup shooters), to the petite sweets (home made oatmeal cream pies were to die for). Go with Jennifer at Jewell! You'll be so glad you did!

Jewell Catering and Events was absolutely amazing and a huge highlight of our wedding. The food was one of the most talked-about parts of the night, and multiple guests told us it was hands down the best wedding food they’ve ever had. What really stood out was that the food on the actual wedding day tasted just as incredible as it did at our tasting, which we know is rare. Greg and Maria were fantastic to work with throughout the entire process. They truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly what we wanted. The tasting was incredibly helpful, the follow-up meetings were organized and thorough, and they were always responsive and easy to communicate with. On the wedding day, the service staff was equally impressive. They were professional, attentive, and did an amazing job keeping everything running smoothly. We couldn’t have been happier with Jewell Catering and Events and would recommend them without hesitation.

We worked with Greg and Justina at Jewell Events Catering for our wedding at The Rookery, and they were absolutely wonderful to work with from start to finish. We received so many compliments from guests about how delicious the food was. The tasting process was fantastic. Jewell offers a wide variety of options to choose from, and Greg was incredibly helpful in curating our final menu. He had excellent recommendations for cocktail hour appetizers, dinner entrées, desserts, and late-night snacks. On the wedding day, the bartenders and waitstaff were outstanding - professional, attentive, and friendly throughout the entire evening. The service felt seamless and elevated the entire dining experience. Jewell also offers a great selection of linens, chairs, tableware, and other rentals, which made it easy to customize our reception setup and coordinate everything through one vendor. The team was organized, communicative, and clearly experienced with The Rookery, which helped everything run smoothly. We couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out. Jewell made the catering process stress-free and memorable, and we’d highly recommend them to any couple looking for exceptional food and service for their wedding.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Jewel was the first caterer I contacted, we hit it off immediately, we are from New Orleans and planned a destination wedding in Chicago and Greg, the owner had been an exec. chef in NOLA. It was a perfect match. He was incredible, he helped us find our perfect venue (Chicago Cultural Center), and recommend the most amazing flower/ decor company (The Flower Firm). The tasting was fun and delicious. The wedding was extremely elegant with fabulous food. The presentation was beautiful, the tenderloin was cooked to perfection and every detail was looked after! The staff was professional and efficient. We had approx. 140 guests plus vendor meals. They even designed a dessert cart for the bride and groom for NOLA bread pudding and bananas foster. Additional, the grooms side had Jewel to Go cater a groomsmen luncheon the day of the wedding. Additionally, our wedding cake that I bought elsewhere was a complete fail, I called Jewel to see if they could help. When I saw the cake I couldn't believe it, I think they actually baked another layer and iced it for us, no one knew we almost didn't have a cake. It was perfect. Cudo's to Jewel, Greg, Maria, and everyone involved it making the night so magical! You guys are amazing. (I just wish they were in NOLA now for the next wedding :). Thank you again!
