She kept us appraised of the work being done from start to finish. She always answered our questions and concerns whenever we called and kept her promises. After paying over $2,000 for my son’s memorial portrait, I am beyond disappointed with the lack of compassion and professionalism I received from Ray, the owner. I live in Florida and have been traveling back and forth to New York to visit my second son’s gravesite. During an incredibly painful time, I sat down with Christina multiple times to carefully plan exactly where my son’s portrait would be placed on his stone. Despite these detailed discussions, the portrait was installed in the wrong location. In January 2026, I made a special trip from Florida to New York with my son’s fiancée—who had difficulty getting time off work—specifically to see the completed stone, only to discover the mistake. This caused even more emotional distress during an already heartbreaking situation. When I brought the issue to Ray’s attention, I respectfully requested a modest $200 credit toward the additional travel expenses we would now have to incur to return and view the corrected stone. Considering the significant amount I had already paid, I felt this was a fair request. Unfortunately, despite repeated conversations and assurances, nothing was ever done. What hurt the most was the apparent lack of empathy. During one of the most sensitive times in a parent’s life, compassion should matter just as much as business. Instead, I was left feeling that money mattered more than customer care. I hope no other grieving family has to experience this level of disappointment.
