Las Alturas Brownsville

It's been six days, and I've got mixed feelings about the place. Some staff members are amazing at caring for people, but others are just there for the check, which is fine, but they're dealing with actual humans!! So, if you're thinking of putting your loved ones here, be careful. They're quick to make excuses, saying things like, "It's not my fault," or "They didn't tell me." Taking no ownership. The facility is clean and the director for activities is great!

The experience at this nursing home has been truly exceptional. From the moment you walk in, you notice how clean and well-maintained the entire facility is, which immediately creates a sense of comfort and trust. The nurses are incredibly attentive, consistently going above and beyond to ensure residents feel cared for, safe, and respected.

This nursing home has been the best one I have ever seen in terms of service, cleanliness and overall care. My family member was a patient and everyone was very attentive. They were able to help us with everything for when my family member was ready to go home. I would recommend to anyone who wants staff that care.

Do not leave your loved ones in the care of these people. Personnel has zero empathy especially for patients who need more care. They will allow patients to soil themselves before they lift a finger and if the patient wants to transfer out they will make it extremely difficult to release. It is disheartening to see how incompetent the staff is. I hope this review helps someone think twice about leaving a loved one in their care.

They provide great care.We are very happy with everything. Therapy does an an amazing job. They got everything ready for my mom to go back home.Beautiful building and all the staff was very friendly.
