BRAMBLE + BLOOM

Unfortunately, the only vendor I would not recommend from my wedding day out of the 7 or so that I booked was Kristin at Bramble and Bloom. I wanted to share a few notes to future brides - Kristin was eager for us to book her from the get go and that’s why we chose her. Our contract stated meetings at 90/60/30 days out. When I reached out at 90 days out it was impossible to get a response from her. I had send her several follow up emails when she would not reply. She would eventually respond “it’s a very busy time of year” and to her credit would apologize for the delay. However, we ended up not scheduling our first meeting until 6 weeks out. Our second meeting (a couple weeks later) she completely forgot about and called me 20 minutes late with no updates or changes implemented from our prior meeting. She even told me on the phone we were the last wedding of the season- insinuating we were just not a priority for her. She did not apologize in this case and made up excuses. On my wedding day I was late to my first look because she had not delivered the bouquet. She even asked the photographer to deliver the boutonnières to the guys (the photographer has her own job!!!) TLDR: My guess is Kristin bit off more than she could chew this wedding season. I will say to her credit, her flowers did end up being beautiful - however, her business acumen really needs improvement. She also has an attitude. I would not book her unless you plan to spend $12-20K on flowers, I would guess in that case she may make an effort to prioritize you more.

We are so happy to have worked with Bramble & Bloom for our early June wedding in Northeast Kingdom, VT. Kristin took my Pinterest board of dreams and completely brought it to life, and was so great to work with along the way. Everything was so perfect! Can't thank her and the B&B team enough.

My husband and I worked with Kristin and her team for our wedding, and we could not recommend them more highly. From the very first phone call with Kristin, it was clear that she is extremely good at what she does. We didn’t have a particular vision for our florals in the beginning, so we were looking for a florist who could really help us craft one. Boy, did Kristin fit the bill. She asked all the right questions to help us figure out how to describe the vibe we were looking for and hone in on some aesthetic details. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the seasonality of different flowers, which ones would do well in which weather conditions, etc. Ultimately, we pretty much just gave her our color scheme, a sense of the vibe we were looking for, and some feedback about vase shapes, candle colors, etc. and she and her team ended up putting together florals that were more stunning than anything we ever could have imagined. They provided us with a detailed lookbook (which was incredibly helpful!), so we knew what kinds of flowers they’d be using, but seeing it all come to life on our wedding day absolutely blew us away. One of my friends said it was the most beautiful wedding she had ever been to. Back when we had gotten engaged, friends had told us to be prepared to spend a sizable chunk of our budget on flowers. While they weren’t wrong, we feel that every penny we spent was worth it, and the work that the Bramble + Bloom team did was a big part of what made our wedding so special. We worked with Bramble and Bloom for our wedding in September 2022 and cannot say enough good things! Kristin was so communicative and thoughtful, and did a truly wonderful job of translating our ideas (admittedly vague ... we didn't really know what we wanted!) into something better than either of us pictured. She worked flexibly within our budget, and was so helpful in guiding us.

I hired Bramble & Bloom for my intimate March wedding and I'm so happy I did. I had a small flower budget and Kristin was willing to accommodate my wedding floral needs. For that I am so grateful! She made herself available to chat on multiple occasions to go over ideas, questions and all other details. She did a beautiful job with my wedding florals and created exactly what I had wished for and envisioned for my wedding day. Everyone still comments on how beautiful the flowers were!
