United Charity

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with United Charity regarding an event auction. The first time I won an auction there, everything went very smoothly and quickly. The second time, I bid on an experience. As before, I made a bank transfer. After three business days, the transfer unfortunately hadn't arrived, and my experience was canceled. In addition, I received a rude email accusing me of lying and claiming I had promised to make the transfer immediately. This is untrue. I explained that I would only do so if I was certain the other transfer wouldn't arrive, to avoid a double booking. Furthermore, I was informed that security would be notified that I wouldn't have access to the premises—as if I were trying to break in. I was really looking forward to a great event and was very disappointed by the United Charity team. I hope this was just a one-off incident—I think their fundraising activities are fantastic, and I'm happy that so many people are being helped. Nevertheless, I won't be bidding there anymore, and I advise you to be careful when bidding, especially at events. It's a real shame that I was treated this way.

Thank you for the existence of such an organization where one can help others in need and win something nice oneself. Helping sick children and perhaps even supporting volunteers should be a matter of course. With our donation, we hope that the sick children will receive something to cuddle or make, and of course, bandages and other first-aid supplies. It is an honor and a pleasure for us. Since we have bid on tickets, we are looking forward to a specific show, including a visit to an amusement park. I would be so happy if more and more people would participate in such initiatives.
